Based on my understanding (WHICH I'M STILL VERY CONFUSED ATM), Dreamseeker is collaborating with Vita running multiple simulations on the best way to save (or revive???) Mars. If my understanding is correct, maybe the main reason Vita is using him as a lab rat is for the future plot of reviving Venus. NOOOOOOOOW WHAT I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IS THAT THE 7 SHUS ARE NOT REAL. I mean, I can accept that it's simulations, but please tell me it's a dream-seeking ability to SIMULATE THE FUTURE(?) because Helia and Coralie are definitely real and not fake. And if it's the future, it can be explained how they're somehow looks prepared (aside from their Honkai experience). I mean, it can be that they were trained really well before coming to Mars. And that Vita and Dreamseeker went to the moon to ask Kiana (and possibly Theresa) about Helia and Coralie.
I'VE SAID SO MANY THINGS, BUT I'M REALLY CONFUSED RIGHT NOW AND THERE'S NO ACTIVE THREAD YET IN HOUKAI3RD OR HONKAIMPACT3 REDDIT SUB SO I'M VENTING HERE.

@hero43221 I don't want to further shame myself cause all my assumptions might be wrong by Sunday, but I think they're destined to get caught up (like the simulations are for the future). It's maybe the reason why they had to train under our OG trio and Durandal . Or maybe they're not originally supposed to get entangled since they're from Earth and not from Mars, which was long dead. But because of Astral Ring and the Senadina we met at the start, so they get fated to assist Dreamseeker. Idk, my mind is just trying to keep on thinking for the reasons lmao cause I refuse to believe that the first three chapters we playthrough are pure lies

however, lets say it was the mars's past, it doesn't really make sense because past can't be manipulated even otto failed horribly. if yes, then those things are holograms and not an interactable thing that we can interact with. but after what ive seen in the first look of 2.0 the first time dreamseeker sees senadina, there are some things that are answered such as the flows of time and yeah you maybe right (we are still theory crafting here there is no right or wrong before the lore drops) ruclips.net/video/lOin_kRut2w/видео.html
actually if you refuse senadina's offer it will tell you that the translation system is a bit off. Which MEANS we are actually in a system that are able to communicate with senadina

in this vid shows all of the things within the first encounter of senadina and dreamseeker. In the very first thing after sleep. it shows the same exact console with when dreamseeker wake up because vita give a massive crazy drop lore. UH i guess we are still in mars but we are traveling to Moon for some reason but idk Its still very vague. lets wait for the actual theory crafters solve this
@@hero43221 WAIT A MINUTE. I noticed something in the second url you shared. The console opened up the view to Mars and then it switched to that portal after some narration. With the recent chapter, I feel like the reality is that Dreamseeker was kidnapped by Vita teleported from her Oxia home to that spaceship because of that console. And the portal which appears after the narration is maybe where the dream-seeking starts/happens.
@@evexcefgame that might happend, but it seems not really convincing as mars right now don't have any habitants yet (EXCEPT they actually go to the bubble universe and kidnap someone there) it seems very unlikely. HMM not really much can be taken from this alone, not to mention IT IS CANON OUR MC IS A GIRL. 😂

Even if this all "was a dream", still, If "simulation arc" can affect even one character - like Dreamseeker - that arc is far from being pointless. Remember last "simulation arc" about Flamechasers? All they do just changed emo Mei into more grown up version of Mei-sempai (and kill herrsher as bonus). Can anyone call this arc pointless?
The difference is that people are expecting a lot of development from Mei during ER. Right now, a lot of people aren't attached to Dreamseeker yet to care what's going to happen with thier character.

wait so if the seven shu were a simulation all along, did the event actually happen in the actual timeline? and if so, what did actually happen? did they survive against the shadows? or did they die? since the dreamseeker was not there in the actual events

Changing the character gender doesn't affect the story since they still end up making the same decision. I wanna play as male DS cause its a breath of fresh air. And DS has a canon name, Entropy. You could stick with that or change it to your liking.

I like to think that It's just Dreamseeker trying out "new" things such as Gender Bending. (probably one of their powers)
Considering that you have to go out of your way to detour from the story and find an never-mentioned button in your bathroom just to swap, and that the entire start of the story assumes you're a girl, I thought it was quite clear really.

So AFTER you've met all those characters and experienced all this story they say that it was all some kinda simulation or a dream? So all of this didnt actually happen and all those characters dont even know you exist (if they themselves even exist). This gotta be the worst fucking "twist" known to mankind if it is what it looks like now. Everything that happend just going down the drain. Man why do i just keep spoiling myself and getting upset over it
Welp the "dream" the Dreamseeker had in the first act of chapter 2 seems like memories from previous "simulations" than just random dreams. And I think it's something like the Captainverse story where the MC goes through many "samsara" to save the world, it's not just random bullshit.
And goddamn, why do ppls keep thinking the most negative way possible about part 2?

Like I said, this is another "samsara/loop" kind of story, just like Captainverse, Penacony or Sumeru, the MC will go through many variants of the timeline to save the world, that means all the things that happened do exist in the main timeline, or in the worst case, USED TO be exist just like ER arc
@@QuangHaMinh-hg8vs It is kind of confusing and confusion, particularly in an story that goes for emotional hooks, can be very immersion breaking. Plus if it was all just a simulation, it kind of makes all the emotional struggles relationship building that the characters went through up to this point seem completely obsolite. I am incline to wait till I understand fully what is going on but I can get why some people are frustrated and upset at a twist like this. It's is like throwing out all our emotional investment. Plus, since we just had a 'and all that was a dream', having it pulled on us again so soon after the last time feels a bit cheap and starts to make a watcher uncertain if getting invested at all is worth it since it might all turn out to be 'just a dream' again. Honestly, the biggest issue right now is it is hard to understand what is actually going on.
@@brynphillips9957 Penacony was also confusing at first. But yeah I hope they sort out things well later and not just making it into a Penacony 2.0 (or actually Project Stigma 3.0). If the resemblance between current part 2 story and Penacony is deliberate, I hope it's well orchestrated and actually plotted to connect them all together at some point (Shaoji, pls say it's all your plan)

From what I can understand, the entire part 2 (story and the people we met) was just a simulation and we were sent to the Moon (back to Earth)
@@zgmf-x20astrikefreedom21 The part which is really head scratching for me is that if that was all just a Simulation, how the hell is the Dreamseeker, who was native to Oxia, on the moon? Is Oxia actually there and she was just pulled into a Simulation by og Sena or what? I am also curious why Vita is involved since she is pretty much a free agent and while not really evil, is mainly only motivated by her own interests.

There is nothing convoluted here. You're the type who defines as "convoluted" anything you don't understand, no offense. Things are supposed to be learned gradually in this type of story, you can't define something as convoluted just because you don't have all answers yet.

@@lemur616well, if we want to be fair, this isn't about how many people are confused but whether the story is convoluted or not, and defining a unfinished story as convoluted because of something that you're not supposed to understand yet since there is a lack of information makes no sense to me.
Also, hoyo doesn't exactly write confusing stories imo. what it does with honkai is writing open-ended concepts and give different characters their own understandings of those complex topics, such as the Imaginary Tree. The only confusing part in Honkai stories is the few retcons mainly originated from the existence of Gods and mistranslations of Honkai Gakuen.

People already jumping to conclusions saying the last 3 patches were meaningless because of 15 minutes of dialogue in the 1st part of an interlude that hasn't even been translated yet. The unintelligence of this fanbase baffles me sometimes, wait for the full story for the love of god. Alright maybe I should cool off too.
Considering the mess that was the moon arc and the mediocre writing in 1.5. It's understandable on why people would instantly hate part 2's story.

i know what i mean is what is their mission/target..only to watching like Su/Ai chan or she had another mission/experiment like the same thing she done on both planet part 1.5..also we didint even get the map on part 2 spoiler back in dicember 2023 instead we got oxia and lanxqiu first..(this one intetesting for me)
Ok, this is gonna be a big spoiler.
So a Cocoon of Finality is like the highest Honkai authority by this game standarts (there are even higher beings in other games). Kiana and God Senadina became Herrschers of Finality by embracing the Cocoon.
Vita was a survivor of Venus, which was destroyed by the Honkai. She ended up in the Sea of Quanta and became a mini-Cocoon of Finality there (she is much weaker than a regular Cocoon) giving up her name and becoming Sa.
Sa's main goal was to destroy Bubble Universes with the goal of obtaining Honkai energy to become more powerful and get enough power to build her own world.
The Vita we know is a clone of Sa who was made to monitor the bubble universes to ensure the process went smoothly. Vita got tired of being under Sa's command and desired freedom.
So with the arrival of people from Earth (Seele, Susannah, Fu Hua etc) she created a very elaborated plan to overthrow Sa and obtaing her long desired freedom.
At the end of the 1.5 story, Fu Hua and Kiana defeated Sa and left her in a very weakened state. Vita took advantage of this and took her Eyes of Bodhi, obtaining all her powers and becoming the new Sa.
