Monster playing!!! One of best Interpretations of the Vierne that I have heard...wonderful organ and a beast of an Organist!!! You are just grand....Gods speed!!

Diese Reibungen und Disharmonien sind schon krass und wie genial diese zum Ende aufgelöst werden. Ein Stück, mit dem man sich erst anfreunden muss, dann aber großartig!
Wunderschöne Klais Orgel in meiner Heimat.
diese Orgel ist etwas ganz besonderes, was man nicht von allen Klais-Instrumenten sagen kann (siehe Wittlich oder Prüm, um mal in der Heimat zu bleiben). Am letzten Sonntag hörte ich Johannes Geffert in Himmerod, u.a. Franck: Grande piece symphonique, das war atemberaubend, da hat alles gestimmt: ein großer Musiker, tief vertraut mit dieser wunderbaren Orgel und dem Raum
Prima fuer diese Interpretation dieses Werkes von Louis Vierne, beruehmter Organist von Notre-Dame de Paris bis 1935 !

That was magnificent. This is one of my favorite pieces of organ repertoire and I've heard it played hundreds of times. I would put this performance in my top 10. First, the organ sounds incredible. Nice job by the recording crew to capture it. Second, I love that you had a chime available, and used it, as a lead in. Third, the tempo was perfect for the space. The 'feel' and excitement of the music came though. Also, this is a tough piece rhythmically, especially in the transitions from one section to another, but you held the rhythm expertly throughout. All in all, very well done.

Ich bin heute zum ersten Mal auf Amelie Held gestoßen und auf Anhieb ziemlich begeistert. Das ist eine sehr schöne und ausdrucksstarke Interpretation eines meiner Lieblingswerke - nur ein bisschen zu schnell. Bei einem etwas langsameren Tempo könnte die Musik sich noch besser entfalten. Ich finde, Alexander Schreiner, Salt Lake Tabernacle, hatte bei diesem Werk das optimale Tempo.
Abgesehen davon ist Amelie Helds Interpretation aber exzellent.
NB: Sie ist auch ziemlich hübsch und die roten Schuhe sind mega süß 😊🎉

Habe dieses anspruchsvolle Stück selten so klar und detailliert gehört , hier passt einfach alles , das Instrument , die Registrierung und die Spielweise .... ( Philipp KLAIS , Qualität aus KÖLN )

Nun ja, kleiner Tipp, Johannes Klais Orgelbau ist ein Bonner Unternehmen in der Kölnstraße, in einem bemerkenswerten Gebäude.

The playing is wonderful. Personally, I prefer the overhead view of seeing the notes played than splitting the screens.

It was a good idea to play the theme with a bell, but it would have been an even better idea to put it in the piece (to the extent of the first theme). Vierne did not prescribe it but is no stranger to style, as Latry also uses Dupré in Cortége et Litanie.

Once I heard it with added bell in the Matthias Church in Budapest (the bell was in bars 1-14). It sounded very good.
