We went to Morimoto’s Asia last year when we were there on vacation. I got the Peking duck, it was so good. There was so much food I had to bring it back to the resort. The whole week we were there I went to Gideon’s and got a peanut butter cold brew every day. So worth the calories. I’m so glad Gracey liked the duck.
My girlfriend and I went here and ordered the same duck dish as well as getting the A5 wagyu beef. They cook it table side on a hot stone and it was the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Cannot wait to go back.

I love duck...I first had it when I was about ten, and have had it a lot of ways since. I agree it reminds me a little of turkey. Orange sauce is best.
I just went to Morimoto at Disney Springs last week! I've been to the one in Philly, too, which has a really nice lounge if you just want to chill and eat sushi. Originally I was going to take my daughter to T-Rex (we were there for a long mommy-daughter weekend) but she told me she wanted to do "fancy" things while we were there. Luckily I snagged an opening at Morimoto! She had the duck ramen and I just grabbed a sushi roll and some pork dumplings. All of it was very yummy. 😋
So happy to see you went to Morimotos. Our favorite restaurant in Disney springs When you go back you have to try the ribs the wagu and some of the dim sum 😋.

This building was the old Mannequins dance club when area was called Pleasure Island. My wife & I went often in the 1990s. It was known for its rotating dance floor. I can picture the old inside when you showed the big interior shot.
Eating duck reminds me of the movie, the Christmas Story, where the family goes out for Chinese food on Christmas Day and the waiter chops the head off the duck!
My all time favorite restaurant at DS. We always make early evening reservations and sit in tte balcony, Always an unforgettable dining experience. So worth it.
Morimoto Asia is amazing! You should try Jaleo next time you’re in the Springs. Everything they serve is amazzzzzzing! And they have a salt air margarita made with Mediterranean sea salt that is sooooo good

Nate, you gotta try my whole roast duck. Yes, you are right, duck is naturally greasy but it’s so delicious. Duck is my wife and I’s favorite meat in the world. We are also new Floridians about 2 hours from WDW! We will try this out at Morimoto’s soon! He is one of my favorite chefs.
I LOVE duck for a special meal. Pre corona, my boyfriend and I went to a place in Chicago where they carved a whole Peking duck for us at the table. It was a really awesome experience. For duck breast, if they ask how I want it cooked, I say however the chef would like. I think that's the easiest way of making sure you get a delicious meal. Duck is also considered a red meat, but still poultry, which is pretty interesting because you can eat it medium rare.
If you're talking about Sun Wah, that place is legendary for their off menu Peking Duck dinner! They carved it tableside and then brought the rest of the duck back to turn into either fried rice or stir fried noodles, and then the bones turned into soup. It's been a long time, but I can still remember how crisp the skin was.
Great video, we got pork buns from the little outdoor cafe place they had outside and walked into the restaurant to use the restroom which was absolutely beautiful

We tried the duck at Morimotos a few years back and we are just not fans of the fattyness or taste…..but glad you enjoyed it! We always park in the orange 🍊 garage too! I've never been a fan of Peking Duck but my parents used to love ordering it. i'm so glad you had a chance to try such a wonderful restaurant, especially since it was your first time trying the dish. I would love to visit Morimoto and after your vlog it's definitely on my Disney bucket list. I would have had such a difficult time leaving the store without the Baymax Jersey....it was so cool. It was so cute to see Gracie eat the duck....she must have been in heaven.
My family was there in December while visiting from Texas and really liked Morimoto. I ordered the shumai (love the caviar on it) and ribs, plus some amazing unfiltered sake. I normally dislike duck but may try the it next trip. I heard it is very good with the sauce wrapped in the tortilla. Looks like you liked that, too.
That duck looked amazing, i don't have it often but love it when I do. At $72 a bit out of my budget when I visit from England next January. Great vlog Nate, love seeing Gracie again. Maybe bump I to you at next year's Festival of Arts xx
I love Peking Duck, so I enjoyed watching you trying it. In Chinatown NY they put the pancake on a plate and then brush some hoisin sauce on the pancake. The dark sauce is the hoisin sauce. Then they put duck on the sauce, then a piece of duck skin, then the spring onion and cucumber.. Then roll it up. Eat the rice separately. I was surprised the waiter didn't make one for you to try it the traditional way.. We love your videos. Next time I'm in Orlando I'll have to try that restaurant. Your video makes it look fantastic. I agree. It's more like Turkey only more juicy/greasy. I don't know about anybody else, but what I love about Nate's videos the most is how he really includes everything in them: the drinks, appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, the parks, and hotels, souvenirs, etc... He really covers it all in each of his videos to the fullest extent. I love the other Disney World vloggers, too, but there's just something about Nate's.

The first time I tried duck was at Sanaa in the Animal Kingdom lodge and is delicious.Very fatty for sure and I got the bread service there with all the different spreads and a sangria. I remember that dinner fondly 😃 😋

Did you know Morimoto wanted to be a professional baseball player when he was younger? Due to a shoulder injury - he had to find another option and eventually become a chef and won the IRON CHEF competition.
Fun fact about duck - the fat is of a unique composition that means that, despite the high fat content, you can't actually use it to make gravy; it just won't properly form. When cooked for a western style, you'd usually see a red wine gravy instead.
I love duck, but it definitely depends on who is making it. I'm fussy about where I order it. Definitely a good thing to try at Morimoto's. I have always told my son this and he thought I was wrong. He ordered it in Dunmore, at an establishment that is no longer there. I told him i wouldn't order it there, but he did. That's when he knew that his mother knows some stuff.

When I first had duck years ago, I thought it tasted like chicken. I agree, Google got it wrong saying it tasted like steak. But I love duck and enjoy it when I can. Thank you for the video. One of the best places to try A5 wagyu. 2-3 ounces a person is more than enough. Very very rich. And absolutely incredible.

Did you know Morimoto wanted to be a professional baseball player when he was younger? Due to a shoulder injury - he had to find another option and eventually become a chef and won the IRON CHEF competition.

Fun fact about duck - the fat is of a unique composition that means that, despite the high fat content, you can't actually use it to make gravy; it just won't properly form. When cooked for a western style, you'd usually see a red wine gravy instead.
I love duck, but it definitely depends on who is making it. I'm fussy about where I order it. Definitely a good thing to try at Morimoto's. I have always told my son this and he thought I was wrong. He ordered it in Dunmore, at an establishment that is no longer there. I told him i wouldn't order it there, but he did. That's when he knew that his mother knows some stuff.

When I first had duck years ago, I thought it tasted like chicken. I agree, Google got it wrong saying it tasted like steak. But I love duck and enjoy it when I can. Thank you for the video.
