After grade 9 learners can leave high school and do an NCV which has both theory and practical unlike high school which is equivalent to grade 10 - 12. IT in TVET is not only theoretical and coding but has Networking, Computer hardware and software , programming.
In TVET there’s an engineering courses equivalent to NQF level 4 but comes consists of only subjects related to Egineering including mathematics and many companies take TVET if you ask me.
Imagine where we would be economically if these skills programs were intensified since 1994: basic literacy and numeracy.

Send the learners to Tvet colleges just after passing grade 9. They will be enrolled in NCV.
