    The chair is a nice idea for the kids. It looks like it would be better than a notch cut out of a fallen tree. God bless and stay safe.

      +Rich Schwartz haha yeah it would. They aren't too fond of that one either. They love to rough it in just about every other way but in the bathroom department. Thanks Rich.

      +Feral Woodcraft no problem love how you mix it up in your reviews and actually uses the knife as it should not trying to ruin it or do nothing at all but a perfect blend :-)

    Ha! I've made that chair! A tip from my experience, debark the sitting sticks... A sheet of 60 grit will do wonders to fix all those micro needle points on the sticks you don't notice until your soft tissue finds them... Thanks for the review!

    • @feralwoodcraft
      @feralwoodcraft  9 лет назад

      +CoastalBackWoods haha! I kinda figured many of us had in the past. My plan in the end is to actually make a "seat" out of pine needs and moss. Thanks for the tip, I will take a few sheets of sand paper out when we go this weekend. I probably should keep a few in my kit anyway. They weigh nothing and are oh so useful when you need them. Thanks man!

    Camp chair not silly at all. That design would also be a nice tray/table. Awesome knife too, I love handles like that.

    • @feralwoodcraft
      @feralwoodcraft  8 лет назад

      +NewHampshire Bound Thanks! Yeah that would work well for a stool, tray, or table. Typically I fashion a short tripod and toss a short log in the middle and call it done but for this one, that design just wouldn't work lol thanks man!

    Silly video? no way, great video, you were using a beautiful knife and made something very functional outside in nature, I love it! I want to make that, if anything it could be a little table.

    I like the idea of doing bushcraft builds while reviewing the knives. Makes the video educational and you can see the capabilities of the knife at the same time.....more people who post under "bushcraft" should practice this.

      Feral Woodcraft The fall is not as pretty as other places. We've more brown tones. It's a nice place to live. I'm a native of Houston, Texas. Here for my husband's job.

    • @feralwoodcraft
      @feralwoodcraft  9 лет назад

      I know it's probably weird but I love the subtle brown contrasts of nature in the fall. And fall is the time of year where every different angle of the sun paints a new picture on the same scene, I love it!
      I am a Texas native as well. From Tyler. Small place this here YT lol Thanks again!

    Big handles are good. They give you more leverage to do stuff with. I'm a fan of the LT Wright if even for that point alone. Great video bro.

    • @feralwoodcraft
      @feralwoodcraft  9 лет назад +1

      +TJack I agree 100% My only complaint on this one is the front end....it's just a hair too thin. but again, handles are a very personal thing so I can't ding the design for that. Thanks Tyler.

    Nice Knife, but right Now I kinda have My Heart set on a Genesis with a DWX sheath, So I'm Saving for that now at this Juncture. not Changing my mind on the knife I buy. I may add it to my collection only after I get the Genesis and my 2 Dark Timber's I am saving for also.

      Condor's Heavy Duty Kukri with the 10'inch Blade . When considering price it has the best price for the package deal when considering the Sheath . At the end of this month i will be purchasing it .
