Nikki, you can always use a wipe with a little bit of antibacterial to wipe the spot on the table where Iris sits while in public. Those are two items that we always use for our kids,, you can't kill the germs all but at least some.

I was actually surprised at how much you've been vlogging since Iris was born. You guys deserve a weekend. I hope you are able to relax a bit and enjoy Iris even more than you already do.
If you've ever been to chick-fil-a, they have kids placemats that stick to the table. Then you just pull it up and throw it away. They sell them in stores. So instead of carrying a bulky rubber mat, or using a cloth napkin, they're easy and disposeable! :)
Nikki I never miss a vlog! I love watching you guys and I have enjoyed watching Iris grow! If you feel the need to take weekends off, that's absolutely fine! I will still watch every vlog you post through the Monday to Friday :)

HA! I was just letting Revelynne eat chicken off of a CULVERS table, tonight 😂 I will never shield my child from every germ. You guys are definitely doing it right, so pay no attention to others. Of course always look, which I am sure you do. Many times I will just wipe it quick with a baby wipe if it looks a little filmy or has obvious food, exc. Also, we take Sunday off, and it made a world of a difference. Even just in my stress levels taking the one day for our family. I'm sure it will help with stress too. I've alwyas been a high-anxiety person.
+NIkkiandJohnVLOG our poor kids, they'll have better immune systems 😂 and I know exactly what you mean! When we were doing full weeks, I would miss days all the time. When we cut that one day though - I was consistent and we always posted (unless Internet, family issue, exc). Coming from someone with PTSD, you will find it SO much better, and it definitely will lessen your anxiety :) I am glad my insight helped a bit!

In fact oldest son was the only student in his class to have perfect attendance all last year! All these anti germ / anti-vaxxers are absolute NUT-JOBS!!

Unsolicited advice from a fellow mom: If you would put your food on the table then eat it, then that's fine for her also. But, if you'd think twice before doing that, then you really should think twice before doing that. BTW: they make plates and bowls that stick to the table. Also, a plate would work if you just make sure she doesn't grab it instead of the food...after a little while she will learn to leave the plate and only move the food. Good luck!

I think that the new scedule is a great idea, I tend to get behind on videos, it this will make it so there are not so many, but the intesteresting/exiting things are still being posted.

Unsolicited advice from a fellow mom: If you would put your food on the table then eat it, then that's fine for her also. But, if you'd think twice before doing that, then you really should think twice before doing that.
BTW: they make plates and bowls that stick to the table. Also, a plate would work if you just make sure she doesn't grab it instead of the food...after a little while she will learn to leave the plate and only move the food. Good luck!
