All k-pop idols look up to them, and are fully aware of the impact and contribution they made throughout their years from debut era until present time. So, no fan could say otherwise.
now that we’re presumably in the 5th gen, it seems like the top 4th gen girl groups are now being cemented as newjeans, ive, le sserafim, aespa, (g)i-dle, and itzy (i know itzy barely cracked this list but they already solidified themselves as a 4th gen leader prior to some of these other groups debuting). nmixx and stayc aren’t exactly frontrunners but they are still pretty stable and consistent as well. then we have fromis_9, kep1er, and maybe billlie who don’t have that much charting power or backing from the general public but have solid fanbases and international support (so not popular but not exactly nugu either). iz*one would have fallen into the top gg category and loona would have fallen into the not popular but not nugu category, but both groups have now disbanded. overalll, i’m happy that a lot of groups i liked seemed to have made their mark and done well in these ways :) there are some groups that i was rooting for that are still a bit lost in nugudom (namely tripleS, pixy, and weeekly), but at the end of the day popularity isn’t everything. let me know if yall think there’s anyone i left out of the list that should be mentioned

All k-pop idols look up to them, and are fully aware of the impact and contribution they made throughout their years from debut era until present time. So, no fan could say otherwise.

now that we’re presumably in the 5th gen, it seems like the top 4th gen girl groups are now being cemented as newjeans, ive, le sserafim, aespa, (g)i-dle, and itzy (i know itzy barely cracked this list but they already solidified themselves as a 4th gen leader prior to some of these other groups debuting). nmixx and stayc aren’t exactly frontrunners but they are still pretty stable and consistent as well. then we have fromis_9, kep1er, and maybe billlie who don’t have that much charting power or backing from the general public but have solid fanbases and international support (so not popular but not exactly nugu either). iz*one would have fallen into the top gg category and loona would have fallen into the not popular but not nugu category, but both groups have now disbanded.
overalll, i’m happy that a lot of groups i liked seemed to have made their mark and done well in these ways :) there are some groups that i was rooting for that are still a bit lost in nugudom (namely tripleS, pixy, and weeekly), but at the end of the day popularity isn’t everything. let me know if yall think there’s anyone i left out of the list that should be mentioned
