Great can we see more Lefty breakdowns like this? Such as Clayton Kershaw Jon Lester CC Sabathia Ryu Patrick Corbin Brendan Mckay.Etc... Thanks Great Job!
Is the front leg tension a er or it dominant concept or is that what all hard throwers do. Example: Verlander clearing the front leg early. Or is this something ir/hybrid guys can do to get the pelvis to go
Aroldis Chapman plz In my opinion, his mechanics had slightly changed over the yrs. Especially in the lower half (I think he had become more quad dominant). Hope to hear u guys' breakdown.
Great video! Love the breakdown. I have a quick question. What are your thoughts on his shoulder angle / head when he’s delivering the ball. I see so many people say the shoulders should be more level. You pause the video around the 19:40 min mark and this is exactly what I’m talking about. I ask as my son throws very similar to this and I’m not sure if it should be corrected. Thank you!
Thanks for the comment! The angle of the shoulders relies entirely on trunk posture at release. Some guys bend significantly more than others, but so long as they're in plane with the shoulders, that's all that really matters. Here are a couple videos that explain the phenomenon: ruclips.net/video/aoqWZBkS4qw/видео.htmlsi=y48dmjzK9C2PbN2q ruclips.net/video/OZpD8SQy0hY/видео.htmlsi=ROMykzppSAeK6vU7
Thank you for the message and pointing me to the other video! That was super helpful. Do you still do video analysis? I’d love to learn more, if so. I’m happy to send an email for more information if that would be best.
Glad they were valuable to you! We do not do mechanical breakdowns for the public anymore, but every new remote athlete goes through an assessment and mechanical breakdown when they sign up to train with us.
Most likely. Some guys aren't dominant in either direction and have pretty good motion both ways and their body just settles on what feels comfortable. He doesn't necessarily have crappy ER is my point.

I would be really interested to see a breakdown of Nick Anderson from Tampa Bay. He has very funky mechanics yet he throws so hard
Good idea!
@@treadathletics is arm lag good or bad and what is arm lag?
Sandy Alcantara would be a great break down.
You should check out Emmanuel Clase! 100mph cutters
Do Zack Greinke
Welcome to San Diego Blake Snell
Could you do one about Julio Urias?
Can you do one for Charlie Morton please?
Good idea! At some point.
@@treadathletics I think his delivery is pretty good, he throws above 94
Does the fact that he doesn’t keep the vertical shin very much mean that his hips are IR dominant?

Can we see camilo doval from the giants
You should do joel zumaya
You guys don’t respond to emails or messages. Sad

His elbow though, that can’t be good. There are pitchers with more efficient arm mechanics.
