This car is flat out rowdy! If a 496 cubic inch engine with 600 horsepower isn't enough to entice you it's also received a thorough and professional restoration by D&D Rods of Sonora, California and looks totally sweet. We have a large stack of receipts to document the restoration. Be the king of the streets in this super quick and super sharp Chevelle. Fast and loud!
EXTERIOR: This car will turn heads everywhere you go! The tuxedo color combination is a classic and highly desirable choice. Dover White paint has been painstakingly applied then sanded and polished to a smooth and slick finish. It has a great shine to it also. The black vinyl top has been replaced. All the body panels are aligned appropriately, and the doors close like a new car. It has all original glass, bumpers, and most of the chrome trim. The blacked-out SS 396 grill appears to be new and is paired with very attractive zapper 575 LED chrome projector headlights. It has a very attractive SS style dual bulge hood with chrome inserts. Dual side view mirrors have been added. It has aftermarket Hurst Vision rims with staggered wheels that are size 295/50R15 in back and 235/60R15 up front.
INTERIOR: The majority of the parts of this interior are new. The front bucket seats and rear bench seat have been reupholstered. They have a nice supportive feel to them. It has seat belts installed all the way around. The center console appears original but in great shape and now houses an aftermarket Sun tachometer, B&M Street Bandit ratchet shifter, Vintage Air A/C controls, and a toggle switch for the electronic exhaust dumps. The dash area is new with Auto Meter gauges, instrument panel, new dash pad, vents etc. A triple gauge cluster has also been added under the dash. The steering column and SS steering wheel appear to be OEM. It has a Kenwood CD/Bluetooth radio with a Rockford fosgate amplifier that also has hands-free calling. The rear shelf has 6x9 speakers installed and the kick panels have 5.5" speakers as well. The car has been completely rewired and has a new harness. The carpet, door panels, headliner, sun visors, and rearview mirror all appear to be new. The dome light is working.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: At the belly of the beast lies a raging 496 cubic inch engine with 600 horsepower. It was professionally built by B&R Machine in Stockton California. It is outfitted with many aftermarket parts including but not limited to a Holley 850 double pumper carburetor, Edelbrock performer RPM intake manifold, Edelbrock aluminum heads, stainless steel roller rockers, Comp Cams roller camshaft and lifters, and an MSD ignition. A performance racing aluminum radiator with dual electric fans has also been added. The builder incorporated a lot of chrome and polished stainless under the hood including air conditioning compressor, alternator, valve covers, air cleaner, serpentine drive system, pulleys, and brake master cylinder. Additionally, the oil system has been upgraded to a Hamburger's remote oil filter and pressure gauge. It also features modern power steering and chrome power brake system. The wiper motor has been replaced and the squirters are hooked up. The underside of the hood, fender wells, and firewall have all been neatly painted semi-gloss black and look slick. A new latch mechanism and hinges have been added as well as hardware. An Optima red top battery provides the cranking power.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid has been painted body color. Reproduction stickers have been added. The weather stripping has been replaced. The floor pan metal is solid and painted with a spatter finish. The trunk is fully carpeted and complete with a full-size spare and jack assembly. The spare tire has a vinyl cover.

Beautiful Chevelle but in my humble opinion it needs a black stripe and the back panel blackened, the wheels are ok but SS 1 would look great with some red lines the aftermarket gauges are ok but the factory SS speedo and tach looks better.

I agree and I can't stand it when they don't paint the tail light panel black. That's a big part of the SS.

@@mrknotthall haha, true. I wondered if it was a Yenko that was wrecked, blown up or both. Good job on the rebuild anyways

Hey, IMO nothing wrong with your offer Tom...it is, in fact, a cool car. BUT, when a collectible muscle car like this one is hot rodded up and screwed with to this extent, all "book" values are out the window. It should sell for what someone is willing to pay and the owner is willing to take.

@@waynehoffman1791 Do book values go out the window when it's favorable for you, such as when you buy a car?

I don't have to drive it to see the front end is way too loose. Probably needs a steering box and a new rag..
