- War in the woods is a race like no other. SRC takes you on an adventure to one of the the most sketchy tracks in the US. People come from all over the world to experience the War in the woods races. Drivers put their balls in a wheelbarrow going faster than anyone ever would think possible on such an old outdated track in the middle of nowhere backwoods Indiana. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

@@DanEvan he’s running a big block. Left the LS a while ago. It’s a big block with solid cast heads and he’s switched to a procharger. He was fast before he’s way faster now.

Dang Tommy don’t sell your self short you and Billy killed it. Ryan Mitchell is a cool ass dude for sure by giving you your props at the end of the video. It’s how racing competitors should be in my opinion. As a 3rd gen guy I love seeing him take that firebird to the finals so often.

As others have already said, Tommy don't sell yourself short. When people like Ryan Mitchell and his crew tell you that you were getting it done, it comes from winners and it's not blowing smoke up your a___ ! It looked like most of the fast cars there were in the high fours which is amazing for that rather sketchy track.

It's a bucket list item for me to come down and see this race in person. I am wayyyy the fuck up north west from you guys so it would be quite the trip but, the atmosphere looks awesome on camera, I imagine it's ten times better in person. Great job guys. I love Tommy’s turbo sound. Everytime I hear it, it’s like stone colds glass break entrance music. I get this huge smile and boom. Car comes out the smoke. Just amazing

No Surprises, Your team never quits, making this kind of weekend possible. Great tuning and driving Billy and Tommy. Great Filming Allison and The Ole Man the Daddy of it all, you got to be proud of the job you and Mrs.Vicki did raising these two boys. They are Two of the most respectable people in the racing industry. Congratulations to the Family. Tracks like this, even the playing field between money and street smarts. 2000 hp not hooked up will not beat 1500hp dead hooked. That means the guys and girls with the street smarts that had to learn to get the most out of lesser cars due to lesser money, figured out how to tune to the road, which is different at every street race. If you notice no other content around this type of racing talks about the condition of the road in detail as The Ole Man's boys do, it is a major topic in their decision-making before each round in the setup of their cars. As their motors catch up in horsepower due to the family business progressing, I believe they will rise to the top with their years of knowledge and experience from old fashion street racing.
You both have come a long way. Congratulations to you both. Tommy like they told you be proud you was doing it like a pro. I enjoy watching the whole family's channels. Great content.

Driving the schidt out of both those cars. Sometimes slower is faster when a track flat goes away, as keeping it hooked up the whole way keeps you going forward faster.

Damn, Frankenstein is a well built machine. Logan's been killing it in No Prep with the new Corvette build. I'd really love to see the Nova hang with cars like that and the Firebird.
