Zum einen eine seltene Einspielung mit dem großartigen Schauspieler Gustav Gründgens und dann eine mit dem damals wohl meistbeschäftigten deutschen Sänger - Rudi Schuricke!! Musical recordings of drama artists are always of special significance and value - which refers to the first one. Real Kleinkunst interpretation ! And it cannot be compared, as I think, to the second one which give us pure musical impressions with a vocal - just to amuse us, however in a perfect way. Thank you. Btw. - did you change a recording camera: the sound appears to have extra sharpness...?
Although the first recording obviously is an important document since Gustaf Gründgens himself is singing the refrain, musically Oskar Joost's rendition definitely is superior. Thank you for sharing this sharing this remarkable comparison!

You are right ! Oscar Joost plays a danceable Tango, which probably makes this song more attractive to listen to ...
