I am so fascinated by these foam things for plates and glasses,i never saw something like that in Germany. Japanese people really know how to make super convenient household products. That is so much better than wrapping every singel item in old newspaper.

Yes, I love it. To move my glasses, I got boxes from the liquor store with the cubbyholes already in them.

@@dvp5094 On the boxes you can see "0123", I 've typed it in Google with "moving company Japan" and I got more info, in the occurrences, they also suggest a green company in my country. I think Nami moved with an eco-friendly one. In the previous video, she talked about wrapping her tableware with eco stuff.
It's a little sad to see the old apartment for the last time. But we can always look at it in old videos, and then we'll feel like we're there again. The new apartment is so much bigger, I can't wait to see what new memories you make there! It's going to be fun for you to decorate and organize it exactly how you want. I'm so excited to go along with you while you do so.

I am always amazed at how professional, clean and careful removals are handled in Japan. In contrast, every single move of mine was pure chaos, despite the most careful preparation. The worst is over, the moving day. In Germany, there is a superstition that what you dream on the first night in your new flat comes true. 🤭 Thank you for your beautiful videos, I wish you the very best in the new beautiful flat!
Agreed! In the United States it seems to involve so much paper and wrap that is wasteful. Nami inspires me to find a better way!

@@jemandjemand2362 I have never found a company with the level of professionalism of the ones I've seen from Japan in the U.S. Sometimes the chaos is caused by the moving company and I've had that happen. Maybe you've never used movers or have been lucky to have good ones.

I've moved numerous times, both in the US and to/from Germany when I was in the Army. (Those moves, we did have movers.) The only times that I ever went to a liquor store in my 68 years was to get boxes to pack my glassware in. Those boxes were great! The last time we moved (and I hope THE last move), we packed everything, but since we are no longer physically able to do the moving, we had a company come in and do it. Those young men were very careful and made sure they put things where we wanted, and set up the beds/furniture for us.

You never realise how much STUFF you have until you have to pack for a move 😁 The rental market in Australia is insane and 1000's are living in tents because rents are so high and rental agents think they're Gods. So whenever I hear someone found a new home and is moving I feel so relieved and happy for them

You’re too hard on yourself. You’re so organised and always so neat. I could only admire your move, mine was an absolute nightmare by comparison.. when I moved a glass dish broke and was hidden under some stuff and I ended up cutting myself so bad I had to spend most of the day in the emergency department of the hospital to fix my hand! 😅 and you did it all in such a short time! It took me weeks! I love your new place. I know it’s sad to leave the old house behind, I had lived in mine for 17 years before moving so I can understand that we have lots of memories there, but it’s for the best and your new place will be full of happiness and lots of memories to create.
