I got a lot of creaking and plinking noises as the string was rubbing against it while tuning - fairly unpleasant, and runs the risk of damaging the string
Pretty great out the box, I had to remove the string tree, and the truss rod was loosened to the point of rattling. Frets are fantastic though, nicely polished, no sharp ends, no high/low spots.
NGL this pickup is pretty good. It does seem like they knew who were going to buy these guitars. 😂
Did you know Kai Down means 'fried egg' in Thai.
It means d*ck in dutch
Also.. why did you remove the string tree? Noob question, just wondering what difference it makes

How is this guitar out of the box? Does it need any maintenance? Do the frets cut? How is the pickup?
The fret work on mine was perfect. No sharp ends and the very well polished. Only thing i did to mine was drop the action a little bit.

i would love to see whats under the pickguard and whats written on the back of the pickup.
same, I'm thinking of swapping the pickguard if I got one but I'm not sure what the cavity underneath is like.

The Play and Trade Guitar video shows routing for one hum-bucker only.
Not a hater but if someone told me 20 years ago that a hello kitty guitar would be the hottest ticket now, I wouldn’t have believed it.
