I love this guy! I watch videos to reinforce my lectures and readings, and he helps so much! The part at 2:50 "these people look very happy, let me draw an unhappy individual" hahaha
You're undoubtedly the Best. I have seen how lecturers struggle for words on this subject matter and you present it so effortlessly making this subject even more interesting. Brilliant. Thank you so much. May you have all the strength to do more videos and remain in pedagogy.
You're a generous teacher.Sir, I request you to make the videos of these topics if possible. 1. Realism 2. liberalism 3. Neo-realism 4. Neo-liberalism 5. Positivism and Post-positivism 6. Feminism 7. International society
Thank you sooo much for such a good explanation!! This is just what I needed because I have to present on this topic in front of my class and felt lost. But after this video I feel like I understand it way better!
You sir, are much more better than my teacher. I learned everything in 8 minutes ! The lecture today was 4 hours about the same things and I did not learned any single thing. THANK YOU
Sir, i hav watched all your videos and i must say that i have learned a lot from them. Your way of teaching is excellent and one can easily grasp the crux of theory that you are teaching. But, the problem is, you have uploaded just 13 lecture videos. They are not enough for student like me. Sir, please upload more lecture videos. Thank you very much for your effort
You are brilliant. A huge shout out from Sri Lanka. We are NOT India, we are recognized by the international community as a separate Nation. Thank you very much :)
Those who recognise Sri Lanka as a part of India are dumbass....India is different and Sri Lanka is different.............infact none of the Indians recognise it as their own part so why making such a fuss Ms. Stephanie?
The modern states emerged in 1648 when a series of Peace treaties (Peace of Westphalia) were signed amongst European countries. These treaties ended the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648) in the Holy Roman Empire, and the Eighty Years' War (1568-1648) between Spain and the Dutch Republic, with Spain formally recognizing the independence of the Dutch Republic. The reason that why these treaties are so important is because it was the first time that states started to have the power/right of self-determination. A new system of political order was established in Europe based on the negotiations of diplomatic congresses. Westphalian Sovereignty is the most important characteristic of this new system, referring to the co-existing sovereign states. All states started to follow the norm of non-interference in each other's domestic affairs (at least as promised) and play the game of balance of power in the regional/international political system. This form of state later spread across the world as Europe's global influence in the next several hundred years' history. Today, it has become a solid part of international law and prevailing world order.
Wow, the way you teach was very admirable. Honestly, I'm having a hard time to understand this, on my modular task, but watching your video made me easier to understand. Thank you, Sir ! ☺️
Sir liked your lectures. Clear and to the point explanation. Best lectures in political science. I request you to give more lectures so that an amature political scientist like me can benefit. There is a need for more research to be done in political science in this present violent global system.
Thank you so much for your super accessible style of teaching. It has helped me immeasurably connect with students from all types of backgrounds and to instill an excitement about learning more about international relations and politics.

this is a great way of teaching! thank you very much! but I have a question: if this is considered as a general description of the state what are the differences with modern state according to Weber? I would be happy if you create the same lesson
Sir the way you teach us is very easy to understand . So please sir if its possible make more videos[topics like theory of political science etc] and then we will be really very thankful to you...
Hello sir ;first of all i have to thank for this informative video , i really learned a lot from it, but i have a question if you excuse me , isn't single army ,single constitution and single budget important pillars of the modern state. Thanks in advance.
Taxation is not theft, this mindset only comes from those who are victims to their own ignorance. Tax is voluntary however many do not understand how to maintain this right. If you act as a member of a club/association/society doing so you consent to obey the rules of that society, so consider the fact people (men/women) act as residents/citizens (modified capacity) in the UK (sovereign state) you are now required to pay a tax to contribute to the whole (public) as stated in the Income Tax Act, unless you know how to operate privately which will allow you to exercise your right to keep what is exclusive to you, for your subsistence, which is recognised in the Employment Rights Act and Contracts Rights Act. The peoples rights are recognised and respected if you know how to exercise them. More can be understood at intellawtualthoughts.blog/
in general the country is like that But in Bosnia Herzegovina after the Dayton Agreement (1995) which was sponsored by the United States can reduce the war, but three ethnic strife In Bosnia Herzegovina not completely extinguished The country consists of two semi-autonomous zones "united" by the central government The two separate entities are the Republika Sprska with a predominantly Serbian population and the Croatian-Muslim Federation on the other. This condition creates a complicated political system because in the end, to accommodate the three ethnicities, Bosnia has three presidents, two vice presidents, five parliaments, and 10 cantonal councils (at the provincial level). The three politicians who sit in the presidency every eight months take turns to become chairman
this guy is fucking brilliant, i'm learning more from him than from my lectures

And all states have a violent monopoly on taxation!
Comes under (6). I disagree that it's a "legitimate" use of force though.
