Hey bud, nice mower.... a couple things... do not be afraid to step on your deck. I have a 2021 mavrick 60" deck. (Think leverage) I use my deck as a step to get onto the "floor" of the machine. And most likely I'm probably twice your weight. (Not bragging). I noticed you have the same style of hydro transmission as I do. Mine is a zt3200, yours is a zt3100. But what I mean is that you don't have any external expansion tanks. You're the first one I've seen on RUclips that's like mine. If you look behind the seat, you have an odd shape hole where you can see a bolt head. That's your fill port, then your vent port is directly next to it. The blade spindles go bad in these, if you're rich you can buy the complete spindles for $150is for a set of 3. Or replace just the bearings (like I'm about to do for $11ea x6.) These are double sealed, the oem ones are only sealed on one side. The ebay ones are also stamped usa, not china like 90% of them.. part number if you care is 6206
All the years I wasted on John Deere and last year I broke down and bought my EZ. I love it. I have used it for some really heavy grass and weeds and it never slows down. I really like the discharge on it. The old JDs would clog and bog the engine. The EZ throws the clippings far out. Mulches nicely without closing off the discharge. For years my wife was afraid of trying a zero turn mower. Now she hops on it and runs all over the place. Bad Boy!!!!!
I bought the 2023 Badboy Renegade Diesel model with a 62" cut and i absolutely love it! Its literally built like a tank, i cut 6 acers out of the 21 i own with my Badboy and it mows and rides and runs like a dream, and i say built literally like a tank because i have got my wife to mow with it and my daughters lol and its still running and mowing without a single hiccup haha. But jokes aside i cant say anything negative about my badboy. Iv still got my first Badboy which is a 2014 Badboy ZT Elite with the hydraulic blade deck and it now has just over 400 hours on it and its still just as good of a mower as it was way back when. But the Badboy Renegade Diesel iv got now has just exceeded my expectations, no they dont have the ride of the Ferris mowers but it rides perfectly for me. Very easy preventative maintenance, and everything is easily accessible. I did buy the light kit for mine because i do end up cutting later in the evening and finishing just after or just before its totally dark. But all in all in my opinion as long as badboy dosent start cheaping out and qualities going down i wont ever buy another type of mower, My badboy Diesel is alot stouter than my neighbors Kubota diesel zero turn, rides better and does alot better on hills in my opinion. If you are looking for a new mower or even a used one do yourself a favor and atleast check out the new and used badboys, you will not regret it.
That is an excellent stated review and I am glad to hear positive information! Thank you for commenting. I have put more hours on mine and still love it. It has cut my mowing down to 30 minutes from 2 hours when I was using my Craftsman GT5000.
@todaywithbk yes sir no problem at all, I truly do enjoy my Badboy mowers, they are definitely a great mower, I couldn't justify buying a Kubota or John deere when I could get twice the mower for the money and a better looking mower and more heavily duty built. But I do appreciate it sir, wishing you the best and stay safe out there
I was leaning towards a Bad Boy for my 4th zero turn purchase. My last one was a Gravely. I went with a Bobcat ZT2000 instead. Warranties are important to me. Bad Boy warranties are the poorest in the industry. They also have a history of rejecting claims.
I'm looking at one of these right now we got six acres we got to mow what do you think of it so far have you had any breakdowns and what's your opinion of the Kohler engine
This is a great mower for my approximate 5 acres of mowing, and so far, no breakdowns. The only thing I found was a loose nut on one of my levers. The mow time was cut in half from my previous mower. The Kohler motor has been great. I have owned other mowers with the Kohler, and as long as you take care of them (oil changes), they will last. I will definitely post another video if I encounter any problems.
I got my zt elite this past Saturday and realized Sunday evening it doesn't have the hydro fluid containers don't see them on yours either thats going to make it hard to change our fluid when time comes
i REALLY want one of these, but it might be overkill for the lawn that i have. i'm mowing about 1/2 acre plus another 1/2 acre of easement...you know, to keep things looking nice. hah!
What kills me the most is there wiring it’s like my uncle did the wiring after a case of bush beer 🍺 🤣messy other then that Bad Boy great well built machine made in the 🇺🇸🫡
@@todaywithbk That would be much appreciated. I'm wondering how to top off/ check the hydro fluid without an external reservoir tank. I've searched for videos, but haven't been able to find one. Since the internal expansion tanks are starting to become more popular, hopefully more people will start making howto videos.
The only thing I don’t like about Bad Boy mowers is there trims and gadgets are plastic. If I was to pay 4-5k for a mower I would want it to be heavy duty
The "so far" comes from my law enforcement experience in my past meaning wait for any updates. This upload shows me first using it with low hours. I intend to update later with any problems or concerns and hopefully none. Thanks for watching.
Craftsman? R U kidding! Cheap junk. What gage metal is the deck and frame made from and how much did it cost? I own an Ariens 60" zero turn. 11 gauge steel, very rugged.
@@todaywithbkBadBoy has a heavier gauge deck than seven, I think that it might be 1/4 of an inch thick and that's a commercial mower not a residential mower I think it's a 11 gauge deck also, so he can not run down BadBoy's mowers
Bad Boy is the best. I’ve got a commercial grade. Love it so much. Rides great, cuts like a hot knife through butter, and built like a tank!
I could not have said it any better. Thanks for commenting!!
Just got mine like this one and I love it ! And i step on the deck to get on it the thing doesn't budge !
Glad you like it too!! Yes, it is a sturdy beast! Thank you for commenting.

Wow, great information. I appreciate this, especially about the spindles. This is why RUclips is helpful when it comes to helpful people like you.
I just purchased the same unit except I went with the Kawasaki FR730V engine. Very happy so far
Glad to hear! Mine is cutting fantastic and running smoothly.

I am glad you see the benefits and the usefulness of the ZT Elite!! I am so happy with cutting and discharge too!!

Thank you for commenting. So far I haven't had any problems with them. Time will tell.
Fyi tip buy some ceramic coating and apply it before your first use it makes cleaning SO MUCH easier
Great tip and thanks!
Such a cool lawnmower!
Thank you! I hope it lasts a long time.
I recently bought one just like that one with the 60 inch deck.
Enjoy!

I know what you mean but it definitely cuts down on the mowing time and fatigue! Good luck!!
given the fact that i am currently using a push mower, even a not-so-cheapo cub cadet zt would probably do the job for many years.
Great Video man, thanks
Thank you!!
Also with the reservoirs for hydro fluid
I have the same one great mower saves an hour over my old cub cadet
Nice! Sometimes I can't believe how fast it mows compared to my previous mower. Thank you for commenting.
I don’t understand what the big deal is about the rpm gage? I’m looking at one right now to purchase.
Not sure what you mean. I just think it is a nice feature/option. Good luck with your future purchase.

Yes, today's quality control is not the best anywhere it seems.
I'm looking for one like this but it must have serviceable transaxles
This one does have the serviceable transaxles. If I can get to it I will film it.

I have made up my mind this is the one im going to , compared to Hustler and Gravely
I definitely searched a lot before purchasing. I know you will enjoy it!!
Where did you get your strap?
If you are referring to the seat strap, it came with the mower.
Nice mower.
Thank you, and I intend to continue to update if any problems arise.
Everyone keeps saying nobody has a 7gauge deck in the res level mowers. Toro does, Spartan does
Thank you for the information.
Do the arm rest raise up?
Yes, they do, and I will show that in my next video. Thank you for asking.
Look 👀 out for the neighbor’s
Pets..!!!😄 all good right up to where you need to depress
That foot pedal to adjust the deck
I'll keep that in mind. I agree that it would be nicer with an electronic lift for the deck but hey you can't have everything:)
@todaywithbk they have a switch upgrade for the deck levels not many do that upgrade due to the electronic switch is to slow
@@joe7528 Thank you for that information. I will definitely check in to it.
@@todaywithbk your welcome

I completely agree, but it seems most things made now a days have tons of plastic involved. Thanks for commenting.
If it had a Kawasaki then, then it would be great.
I understand.
Is your other knee bad
Both are.
Yes, both are bad from my military service.
Great looking mower...except for the Kohler.
Thanks but time will tell regarding the motor.
Good luck! (My Kohler 27HP died @ 270 hrs...still suffering butthurt!).
@@d.s.mclaughlin3461I hate that for you. Fingers crossed here for mine!!
