Nate “Mhmmm” “Big Sexy” Sexton and Jeremy “I’m done” “Big Jerm” Koling. Lol. My all time favorite commentating. I truly miss these guys when they aren’t commentating. They really make the rounds sooooo much more enjoyable with their input and expertise. Gotta love it.
Yeah he's looking tough to beat. Other pros need to figure out how to be as consistent as Paul is with putting.... then they might have more of a chance. That's why Wysocki is often on his heels... Ricky is one of the few pros that is as consistent as McBeast with his putting.
dude, I saw him in a walking cast, and for a second I thought, "is he going to be competitive this year in that state?" Then he stood still and flicked one about 400 feet without even trying. He has mastered this sport.
@@terablair628 It makes you wonder what the heck has everyone else been doing. I remember doing shots that had no name yet, back in 2003, now everyone has a hyzer flip shot or two. If that car crash hadn't ended my pro career before it started... still better late than never. I might be 46, but I just drove 450' for the first time ever, and there is way more meat on the bone, once I iron out 3 more flaws in my form. I am actually inventing a new backhand throwing style based on the trebuchet. Think of Hokom's sidearm form but backhand. I can match my longest drives with almost no effort... it is mind-boggling.
Love seeing two East Tennessee players on the lead card. These technical courses play very much like the local courses here... well other than that horrible wind.
Is McBeth so in his competitors heads that their game simply dissolves when they're on the card with him? I really believe the stats will prove this true. The statistics being - In a three round Tournament, a competitors worst round will be the round played on a card with McBeth.
I often think of the dominance of Roger Federer and tennis and how he was so God like During his prime that people were freaked to meet him in their draw.
I would have loved to see that first view of McBeth's first drive on 18. It was tough to see what happened... It totally looked like it was coming back!
The power of Paul ! Just watched hole16. As his feet stumble and slip underneath him his upper body maintains stability and form to pure a full tee shot. Then again on his second, as he steps back off the slope, the power and strength to circle edge that short purely with upper body.
I get why it often seems like Nate and Jeremy hate on Paul but man, it does have to be hard when you not only see it happening every week but having to re-watch it and commentate on it after. Rough goes.
Dont think they hate him. But they have so much respect for him and maybe, like us other ordinarys, sometimes gets a little tired of how perfect he is 99 % of the time.
Great round! Such professionalism in the face of tough conditions! The only down side is now we have to watch niko cry and throw his hands up and punch his disc after every shot on lead card tomorrow
I noticed they assumed Paul crossed in bounds on his drive on 17. I don't have frame by frame capability on my play back, but it looked to me that the drive hit the ob line, which is ob itself. This may have saved him multiple strokes. Surprised no one even discussed the possibility of ob way earlier...
Discraft sounds like a heading on a skill tree in an RPG that is designated for how good your character is at talking smack. "How good is your dis-craft?" ... "Good enough for your mom last night" lmao
For some reason, "fore" is usually paired with "aft", while "front" is usually paired with "back". However, there is a long history of yelling "fore!" to warn the people ahead of you, so if anything is wrong, it's "backhand" which should technically be "afthand". I think we're better off leaving it the way it is.
You always say that the sponsors make the coverage possible. Just curious, what do they do to make it possible? Pay for fuel/hotel? Give money? Offer a place to edit?
That wind looked brutsl. Hate watching a perfect shot just turn, when any other time it'd start gently fading. With this course being partially wooded and open it's even harder to make an accurate read. I'd been happy to leave that course with my sanity some how in tact.
The elevated baskets are getting out of hand. If you have to climb a ladder to get your disc out of the basket, then it just seems like work. You want me to paint something while I'm up here? I don't know any other sport where I would have to climb a ladder. Do I need a tool belt? hammer? drill? chisel? Do I get a bulldozer for a gold cart?
As to the forehand and the sidearm, I would argue, as some older players have, that they are two different shots. Forehands are elbow bent and tight to the body, like tennis, whilst sidearms are looser with a straighter elbow, like baseball. Big Jerm vs. Ricky We talk about the different types of backhand (bent arm vs full reach-back vs Swedish); there is no reason to over simplify the terms. The English language is already too loose, lets not make it any worse.
And Nate NAILS it dead on about hole 14's trees creating nasty rollaways from a RH backhand hyzer ...... SImon took that line and paid the price w a nasty rollaway.
Tennis: forehand, backhand. I can't think of another sport that uses front hand. Gymnastics is closest with front handsprings but Jerm can save that for his aces. Nate is off on this one. Forehand, backhand. Easy peezy.
Don’t think about it Big Jerm! 😂
#BackHand #ForeHand keep it going
It's forehand and afthand, you can't tell me otherwise.
It’s backhand because your hand is pointing backward toward the pin. It’s for hand because your hand is pointing forward toward the pin.
Fore means front, Jerm, so it's all good.
Next challenge for Jerm: change ”club down” to ”disc down” and ”tap in” to ”drop in”. I believe in you :)
That putt on 13th from Paul definitely deserves a spot in the best of 2019 compilation
20:02 "...but a par? Really, Paul?" I love you Jerm lol
You couldn't pay me to watch golf, but I can't pull myself away from the disc golf action! Top notch productions helps as well

Paul broke jerm with that crazy putt!!! lol
TBH the intro graphic is so underrated. Perfectly synced with the music it almost gives me chills
Only way to beat Paul this year is hope he doesn't show up!
Exactly, like at the last NT event the week before MVP open.
Yeah he's looking tough to beat. Other pros need to figure out how to be as consistent as Paul is with putting.... then they might have more of a chance. That's why Wysocki is often on his heels... Ricky is one of the few pros that is as consistent as McBeast with his putting.

@@lokinakor1 came in 1, 3, and 2 first three tournaments of the yer, with hardly any off season practice and playing injured....its honestly absurd!

R3 card looks like it's gonna be a good one. I can't wait for tomorrow!
I'm so glad this channel exists. I want to get into discgolfing now!
Buddy bout chopped that tree down 🤣💪🏼
Haha when Jerm leaves on the 13th! So good! Great work letting us visualize it without actually being able to see it...
Thanks for the coverage guys! my patreon $'s well spent :)
Right as I finished the front, looking forward to it!
i wanna see the footage of Jerm brake when he sees Pauls putt on 13th!!
13:40 insanely good put... WAUW what a beast!
Right before Paul's putt on 13, I'm like, "He'll make it." #typical
Awesome coverage & great tournament!
Par McBirdie showing everyone why he’s the top dog year in and year out. Absolute beast.
Great coverage Jomez and fantastic commentary BigSexy
Paul´s putting skills are so stupid insane and satisfiying. Well played!
Love seeing two East Tennessee players on the lead card. These technical courses play very much like the local courses here... well other than that horrible wind.
in tennis if the back of the hand leads its a back hand if the palm of the hand leads its a forehand.
That should make it a palmhand lol
Incredible commentary on this one guys! Hope you find success in another career Jerm
Is McBeth so in his competitors heads that their game simply dissolves when they're on the card with him? I really believe the stats will prove this true. The statistics being - In a three round Tournament, a competitors worst round will be the round played on a card with McBeth.
sure seems like it
I often think of the dominance of Roger Federer and tennis and how he was so God like During his prime that people were freaked to meet him in their draw.
I mean...Dickerson is still right in it
I would have loved to see that first view of McBeth's first drive on 18. It was tough to see what happened... It totally looked like it was coming back!
PAUL GONNA WALK AWAY WITH ANOTHER ONE!!! SIMON GET THE NEXT ONE!!!!
The power of Paul ! Just watched hole16. As his feet stumble and slip underneath him his upper body maintains stability and form to pure a full tee shot. Then again on his second, as he steps back off the slope, the power and strength to circle edge that short purely with upper body.
Fun to see McBeast play here again. Still remeber the big meltdown some years ago.
They don't hate on him at all. Nate toured with him for years... they're close friends.
It's in good fun.
Nice job Paul, love that you're using the grip I posted on Instagram for sidearms now ! I noticed ! Lol
Par McBeth!! I freaking love these guys!
Great round! Such professionalism in the face of tough conditions! The only down side is now we have to watch niko cry and throw his hands up and punch his disc after every shot on lead card tomorrow
I thought the same thing, can't stand Nikko's tantrums every time.
Lol I like his style but I do wish he would show less emotions, it’s not a good look.
Another great episode, guys! Love it!
Opposite of fore hand is obviously “aft hand”.
Mcbeast with the unreal putt wow I gotta keep practicing!
I understand that putt from Paul that melted big jerm is insane but honestly his par putt on 17 was the most impressive putt of his round for me.
Paul breaks Jerm pretty much once per round. Glad you keep coming back, big guy.
love watch jomez pro !!
13:48 Big Jerm quits commentary. Incredible.
The opposite of "fore" is "aft", so obviously backhands now need to be referred to only as "afthands", in order to stay internally consistent.
When Paul McBeth activates God Mode in the console commands.
After that birdie putt on 13 Paul is officially the BOOGEYMAN.
Baba Yaga.
14:05, Paul broke all of us Nate, he broke all of us...
Awesome match!! Plus here's my entry!
Nate has the best follow through in the game! #watchit
Hole 13 Paul's putt....thanks for coming back Big Jerm.
Wait what?! $50,000 in conservatory fees!? How? How is that even possible to host the tournament?
Maybe not a whole muffin, but what about just a muffin top?...
Perfect timing! Just finished the front 9
Forehand/Hindhand; Fronthand/Backhand?
Discraft sounds like a heading on a skill tree in an RPG that is designated for how good your character is at talking smack.
"How good is your dis-craft?" ... "Good enough for your mom last night" lmao
It's fore hand instead of front because the opposite of backward is forward.
Side arm/back arm/front arm clearly three different techniques!
Backhand & fronthand or afthand & forehand.or fluke & flick.
Thank you Jomez
Zippity Zoppity Fronthand Flick Poppity
Using a cookie as a mini is a risky play. Is there a rule covering animals eating your mini while lining up your shot?
He really marked his lie with a cookie?! I thought that was a joke and he just bit his marker for good luck...Haha that's great.
This course is BRUTAL. 😢
Good stuff, guys.
keep getting better paul!
Fore is also the opposite of Back, that's why it's called Forehand in the first place.
For some reason, "fore" is usually paired with "aft", while "front" is usually paired with "back". However, there is a long history of yelling "fore!" to warn the people ahead of you, so if anything is wrong, it's "backhand" which should technically be "afthand". “Front” is to “back” as “fore” is to “aft.” Ergo, “forehand” and “afthand” or “fronthand” and “backhand.” Right?
You always say that the sponsors make the coverage possible. Just curious, what do they do to make it possible? Pay for fuel/hotel? Give money? Offer a place to edit?

This 35 min were so interesting and realy exieting
I didn't know Bob Ross' son played disc golf.
The elevated baskets are getting out of hand.
If you have to climb a ladder to get your disc out of the basket, then it just seems like work.

5X slip on #16 for Paul.
Interesting that Chris and Paul bookended the round with triples.
Paul still had quite a day. Like damn!
9 holes without a par... psh, I've done that....
Jerm has left the building.
After 13:53 I'm now quitting disc golf. 😱
Lol I literally paused to type that right when i saw that. Then I heard Big Jerm when i hit play again
Hole #18 ruined Paul's world championship run in round 3 of 2018, too. I'm guessing it's not his favorite hole.
doktarr he’s kicking himself for not advancing after the first ob. It’ll make for an exciting round 3 though!
BigSexy commentary on Jomez > All the rest
Back hand vs front hand. Forehand vs Afghans sailors.
Par McBeth FTW!
3:51...Maybe not a muffin, but what about a muffin top? "Top of the muffin to you!"
What on earth was going on on hole 18
Go Simon!
During competition does Paul ever accidentally step on his cape?🦸😄
JomezPro
Am I a bad person for loving #18 on this rd?
OMG. Dickerson missing the perfect opportunity to mess w/Zach at 16's basket. Can't let those go by!
The opposite of forehand is afthand.
It's almost nice to see Paul being human
It's nice to see Paul being almost human
I think you watched a different video than I did :)
Zach looks like he has a eye patch in many of the shots. He would be my instant favorite if he really did. Food for thought, Disc Golfers.
I take it back ....bob ross is awesome!
Well Jerm I thank you for being you. Clipboard would have been tossed if you had one. Stats mean nothing to PM Beast.
You're on to something with fronthand. That's the term when talking about slapping somebody.
Just, wow.
I still say sidearm.
Backhand Forehand Disc Sports
