Top Gun 2 was a joke. After 30 years or so it's just a remake of the first movie, lots of nostalgia, plus delay after delay and all it was was just a remake of the first movie, and then the third act just steals Iron Eagle's third act and mixes it with the Death Star Trench Run from Star Wars. What a joke of a movie and lame. Also, very lazy. The only thing I can give Top Gun 2 was the pacing. The movie flew by and I was never bored. But other than that, I'll just go watch the first Top Gun or Iron Eagle instead.

I went through something similar during Summer 2020. I had to re-buy the movies because my Two Towers Blu-Ray was skipping. So with us stuck at home and stuff, I had free time to watch my new copies to make sure they were good discs. I originally just watched the movies to make sure none of them skipped, but then I found myself getting into them a little more. Before I thought they were just okay. I wasn't crazy about them. But after Summer 2020, my opinion on them has changed. I'm still not super crazy about them and stuff and they aren't in my top movies of all time, but I can get into them a little more now. Plus the pacing has picked up quite a bit for me when watching them. Before, I felt every second of those 2.5 to 3 hours. Now I'd say they feel about 30-45 minutes shorter than what they actually are.

    • @projectpat8807
      @projectpat8807 3 месяца назад

@@brettbaglio1550 , I'm split on the extended cuts. My biggest issue with them is lying about the runtime. For example, Fellowship is supposed to be like 3 hours 48 minutes. But if you cut out the end credits, it's only like 3 hours 20-28 minutes. There is 20 minutes of end credits. When I went into the movie, I was like "okay so this movie will be about 3 hours 40 minutes and 8 minutes of end credits." Nope. Back then end credits weren't that long. I think the movie with the longest end credits was about 10-12 minutes, and that was a very rare thing. Now, movies have end credits that are a minimum of 12-15 minutes. Even shorter movies will have 12-15 minutes of end credits. So yeah. I thought I was lied to about the extended cuts' runtime. And all three of them have like 20-25 minutes of end credits. I had seen the extended cuts on Max/HBO Max. I thought the streaming service was messing with me, but then I went to the runtime bar and got it so a preview window would pop up. Those last 20-25 minutes really were end credits. That made me mad. When they say extended, I wanted extended. Also, a lot of the footage that was put back into the movies, I could see why they were cut. It really was just filler stuff. There was only a few things in Return Of The King they should've kept in, but other than that, I think the theatrical cuts are just fine. Plus the theatrical cuts don't lie about the runtime. The theatrical cuts really do only have about 8-10 minutes of end credits. So I feel the actual movies take up as much of the runtime as possible. I guess extended cuts are good for a one-time watch, but I'm just going to stick to the theatrical cuts. They are more to-the-point.

Its crazy to think of the amount of talented actors in The Dark Knight. If that movie flopped it would have sunk careers and likely would have ensured a live-action Batman would not be in the minds of many for years.

Only one I don't really agree with is Barbie. I thought the cast was great, but the movie was pretty forgettable.

So many fantastic ones!😀Hard to choose. Titanic,Terminator 2,Harry Potter,Matrix,Lego Movie(haven't seen but I played so much with lego as little,I love them😁),Fellowship of the Ring,Logan(haven't seen but I'm sure it's great),Jurassic Park. Dark Knight is fantastic! I remember watching with mom and dad first time. Told my friend when it's on tv too. We loved it!😁And when Gordon gave Batman Joker card and Batman went to investigate it was fantastic! We were smiling😁Watched Dark Knight few years later with dad😁Great list!😁

Still can't understand all the hype over titanic. I thought it was boring as fuck.
Tried watching it 3 different times, and have yet to get 2/3 through it. Fell asleep the first two times. Just gave up the third time.
    Haven't seen the Bladerunner sequel.
Or the Barbie movie (though the trailers make it look like just another disney channel waste)
Haven't seen the dune remakes. And to be honest I've never heard anything good about it, till right now.
    Haven't seen TG Maverick yet.
And I can't believe you guys put *Logan,*
    *'below',*
    The Force Awakens. 😲
    😖I mean....REALLY??!! 🤨

The Force Awakens is my favorite since the og trilogy. Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker is the main reason why the Dark Knight is so beloved.🙏

No 4️⃣ Or at least, what we all thought at the time would be their final conclusion until we get "Eternity Wars" and "Secret Wars"

Star Wars, Episode VII, exceeded expectations in many ways. True, it copied A New Hope and established Rey as a Mary Sue, but still it had many new characters and ideas which could have been amazing.
Unfortunately... Well, we all know what happened afterwards.

The last Jedi tried too hard be different and it showed. ApTC at least builded upon what the Phantom Menace introduced even if it was a mixed bag

@@frankieseward8667Attack of The Clones was the worst film in The Prequel Trilogy but than The Last Jedi showed up & automatically made the former look like Oppenheimer by comparison.

Most agree that The Force Awakens is the only good film in the infamous Sequel Trilogy.

And, don't start me on Dune! I've read the books so many times, the movies doesn't make them justice. Who made Chani stupid ? Why ? Where is Leto, first borne of Paul, killed by emperor's men ? Where is Paul's sister, Alia? Who killed Baron Harkonenn? Jason Momoa?

Hey watchmojo, I have a video request for the name of the video. It's called top gametoons villains of all time and put a Honorable mentions on the video because I like it and trust me when you watch gametoons there is a lot of villains so trust me this is a good idea for your next video. Or if you make another video instead of this one, make this one after it. Please if you're looking at the comment

I have seen - and deeply enjoyed - all but 4 of the ones listed. I haven't seen "Blade Runner 2049" or "Logan" yet and have no interest in seeing Potter or "Dune". I remember crying through some of "Star Wars" whenever an original character showed up (and during TS3 for other reasons), being completely shocked at how good "Barbie", "Lego" and "Spider-Man" were (I was less impressed with "Oppenheimer", but since it wasn't officially in the list it doesn't count). The others were just incredibly entertaining, and I've watched most of them multiple times.
