wow this is why youtube is amazing. not the stupid influencer of the week b.s. ... i tried to think of something i'd like to watch, narrowed it down to 'someone talking about working with DePalma' and damn... this is perfect. ty.
I was surprised she was so kind about BDP, b/c in an interview w/Fangoria some years ago she reported that after seeing the movie she said, "REALLY, BRIAN!" How age changes you! :-)
Fiona Lewis did say in a 1982 interview in Fangoria that after watching a screening of the film she said to DePalma "Brian, I'm very disappointed." After watching this interview it appears she has since changed her mind. I have to say though that I completely agree with her earlier opinion of the film.
@@NYCVIDEO The article is in Fangoria #17. I reread it. Fiona didn't say elaborate on why she was disappointed in the final product. She did complain about the rigors of filming her death scene & being covered in blood for over a week.
@@whyyyyou Might have to do with the cut scene, seems there was more to her part that didn't make it into the picture. She always stands out in a movie - even a tiny role as in Strange Invaders.
THE FURY as a movie is frustrating because Fiona Lewis's character doesn't warrant the horrible death she's given. She's very pleasant in the movie and extremely interesting to watch as an actress. Her clipped British line readings are astute. I wanted more of her in the picture and less of Amy Irving and Dirk Douglas.
@@rhymeandreasoning Irving is so whiny in this movie and Douglas is doing his usual Douglas bit. Andrew Stevens is annoying. The best ones in the cast are Lewis, Cassavetes, Carrie Snodgress and Carol Eve Rossen.
Holy for 72 She looks Amazing!!!
Darlene Snell may exist in real life lol
Fiona Lewis looks great.
Film fabuleux, grande époque pour B de Palma...et j avais phantasmé sur A Irving
Great interview. Thanks for posting this.
You are welcome
great gift thank you!
The ARROW blu ray of the movie is very nice
A great production.
Fury has so many EPIC death sequences, even before Scanners.
I wish the movie would get a special edition blu ray in North America like it has in Europe. The ARROW edition is excellent.
@@rhymeandreasoning Disney owns Fox now so I doubt a blu ray would be released
@@monjesenal7477 I have the Arrow blu ray of The Fury. It is really nice. The packaging and booklet alone is worth the price. I was very impressed.
It's hard to depict Fiona as a baddie in this movie, She comes across so warm-hearted and motherly, that it makes her demise all the more horrific.

Very happy you found this clip. Happy you enjoyed it.
I remember this movie from back in the day. Some of the scenes were really scary. Fiona looks absolutely beautiful.
Try to post more behind the scenes stuff pretty awesome.
Gosh, she's in her 70s!!
Yeah I was like daym gal
I saw this at the theater when it came out. it's very good.
Great movie
I agree
Stranger Things without the monsters. Unless you count the shadowy agency trying to turn telekinetic kids into WMD.
Beautiful woman she is !!!✌️🚀🥁🎥🎞🎬💫✨
This woman looks better now than in 1977!
I don't care what people say... I prefer The Fury over Carrie anytime. Much more interesting story.

That scene where she was spinning and blood was splashing out of her was very disturbing.
Amy irving beautiful
That's Fiona Lewis
The Fury felt like a horror version of the New Mutants.
Is that Fiona Lewis today?
Now I know it is
Yes. The blu ray is very nice.
Anybody think she looked like Kelly LeBrock off 'The Woman in Red'?
THIS IS ABOUT ROBIN SANDZA AND GILLIAN BELLEVER.....RANDY RHOADS AND GARRY HIXON a boy and a girl

Disappointed why? I love it.

so you think that the evil witch fiona lewis plays doesn't deserve what she gets and that amy irving, who's the heart of the film is "annoying"?
@@plasticweapon very much so
