Yes Explorer.exe is a Windows file when it's in the windows folder. Viruses call themselves that and install themsleves in different places, then they are a virus. They sometimes instead in the Themes folder in your computer and this is how to get rid of it

@@01020m You need to boot into safe mode, and aside from doing this, remove the auto entries with uvk killer, and delete explorer and svchost.exe and all of their hidden files from the Windows
esources\themes folder.
