There is nothing wrong with wanting a dog with certain traits for your family, and that's what helps keep dogs out of shelters. And no one should say that is wrong. That sounds like response dog ownership to me.😃

That’s my favorite breed, he won’t beg as long as no one feeds him from the tables or give him food scraps. Rescue puppies & dogs are great too. There are several breeds who shed very little or considered hypoallergenic. Having young children golden doodles are a #1 pick. They also may become protective so keep everyone interactive with the puppy.
Be sure to play/touch/mess with his feet so he gets used to having his nails trimmed. Touch his ears, look in his mouth....get him used to being groomed and trimmed, you will be glad you did when he's bigger!
Sure you could’ve gone to the Humane Society to get a dog but I think you made the best decision for your family and you got a great dog friendly cute doesn’t shed
One suggestion I have is to train him to ring a bell when he needs to go out. A N D educate the small people about the human foods dogs shouldn't eat. We are LONG time golden retriever people. Goldens are amazing family members!
No shedding, but he will have to see a groomer a couple times a year. Poodles need that ear hair pulled out, and his bottom may need a trim, but as a mixture idk if he will have the same issues as a poodle. Poodles are so sweet and smart. 🐩🐕
Bri, are you milking one handed and zoning out. You are allowed to zone-out. My husband and daughter always day dreamed in school and got poor marks and they are the smartest people I know. Zoning out is a good thing, it shows you are creative. Both my daughter and husband are very artistic.
I have a goldendoodle named Grace. She is 50/50 so not as curly as yours. However she and I went through lots of training and she is now a certified therapy dog and works with me daily in my barbershop. You don't need to explain your desire for a dog for your family. Rescues are awesome and I foster for 1 in our town. You do you! Namaste.

Or they bag it for him shows it all on his channel a foreigner living in Philippines you tube channel his name is Brian Smith he's from the US living in Philippines. Check him out. Also has a talopia fish farm on his land

I understand you wanted to get a dog from a breeder because it was easier but you still can get puppies from shelters or the pound. Even if it takes a bit more searching and waiting for a shelter puppy. I don't agree with purchasing from a breeder. It just creates more demand for dog breeding. If you're already getting a trainer for Teddy you could have still trained a shelter puppy. But we can't change what people want to do sometimes. I volunteer in shelters and own a great shelter cat. I see the effect of pet breeders all the time.
There is no such thing as a mini golden doodle, there is no way that dog has a 70 pound golden retriever in his blood and he will only be 20 pounds. That’s just not possible
The problem with the previous dog was you. You did not show him leadership. You have been encouraging him when he misbehaved so he took it as guidance how to act. Watch Cesar Milan in RUclips to get the idea

You should make the gate to the milking area put the hinges on the other side so it block the part where the babys would get out

Has Teddy had all his shots? I wouldn't expose him to other dogs in public if he hasnt. But it would be hard to leave him home he's so adorable.

No. Good management means no smell. Either move to new ground every 5-12 days or if you can't do that, add deep bedding (carbon material)
