At an auction, ranch may sell u an orphan to bottle raise. Which, they r not for inexperienced ppl, they rarely, RARELY, r ever really docile. I've been around cattle my whole life, I won't mess w/ bison, LOL.

I wonder how much meat you'd get out of one that size? It'd have to be a lot of trouble to process. I imagine you might even have trouble finding a packing house that would deal with it. Maybe get one of those mobile butcher services to come out

For that to happen, he has maybe a days worth of some stress, this is the worst part & it's over pretty quick. This isn't somw shoddy auction, u can tell. Nobody abused him, they used patience, pressure & release tactics to work him, gave him some space & time. Even to get him to a conservation herd, he's gotta b moved. U go try, good luck.
