Hi Kathy, congratulations on your mastery of the subject, could you tell me how you prepare the canvas if by chance you use acrylic chalk or something else

@stefanodifino9808 I use willow charcoal unsealed most of the time, or I'll use a charcoal pencil and use a fixative if I'm going to do washes of paint over the drawing before I begin to paint the image, which is what I did in this painting
