19:45 The church at Blubberhouses isn't the one that replaced the church at West End, the former was built in the 1850s. The West End replacement still stands on Bank Dike Hill (near Coarse Lane), and is of modern architectural style. It didn't last long as a church though and is now an outdoor centre.
The Public House was called the Gate Inn , My father used to go there in the 50's there was a Police constable who called in there checking on closing times Alf Roberts can remember him saying , I also have cine film of the church before flooding
time has a way of hiding history, but it can be found if you look. if there was a mill then that would tell me a stream was there. great video thanks for sharing and please have a great day

the roads are fab, but avoid in winter! these are definitely summer roads for bikes!

oh, i did read that some of the stone was taken there.

i did see it once had a sailing club
