Blame RUclips: every time someone does the public service of uploading this version, they take it down. I almost didn't want to give it a "like" and draw unwelcome attention (but of course I did in the end!).
Yes, thanks for the full version of SCOM. At 3:36, Slash starts one of the top 20 or top 10 greatest guitar solos in all of rockdom. Great total rock song. Richard
I knew the full version was out there and I am so glad I found it. Thank you for putting the full version on here. The only other way I could hear it is with my ipod.
Also, be aware of the absolutely greatest, the top, & the best single guitar-solo note in all of guitar solos at 4:35, with that magnificent pull-up. Starting at 4:31, a bit of feel is useful to set one up for that wonderful pull-up note. Hey, I've been playing cover-band lead guitar since the Beatles in the summer of 1964. A good ear & a lot of objectivity allows me to appreciate a true artist, like the nearly incomparable Slash. Also in 1948 along with me, Tom Johnston, Patrick Simmons (Doobies), Stevie Nicks, & the wonderful Ted "The Nuge" were born. We are kinda old, but we can still rock. :) Richard
I know it's Axl Rose. The quote I used was from Lennon, though. It was a joke about how they were the very opposite of struggling unknowns (though ironically, the Beatles were about to break up as Lennon said it). All I'm saying is that this song is also huge + deservedly so.
I suppose it's not that obvious. It just was always 1 of my favourite Beatle quotes. Here's a clip of it: ruclips.net/video/D60xWhSWV80/видео.html I'd have liked to paste the full live song (Get Back) just before it, but it doesn't seem to be up there. Probably copyright reasons. If you haven't seen it, the film "Let It Be" is well worth watching, including the last live performance the Beatles ever did. It's both exhilarating and sad at the same time, because you can sense the tension of a great band that was about to break up. Even the laugh for Lennon's joke at the end feels rather forced. On the other hand, it was freezing on the roof where they performed, so it's possible to read too much into the body language. Also, the cops were threatening to arrest them. Which, now that I think of it, is a brilliant way for a band to go out. ;-)
Slash just turns me onnnnnnn 💖🎩 I would Love to be his guitar, especially when he bends back playing the guitar 💋👄👅 (Hand on forhead) my eyes just drop with fire of desire when I look @ him♨️
THANK YOU for the full version...how can they cut that riff short!!!!! Great song. One of the greatest of all time. What memories!
Yea it's one of the biggest crimes in the history of human kind, pretty much the best part in an incredible song! My favorite song of all time.

Yes. That's the question which I always get. That's the best part.
The full version is awesome they did a crime by shortening this version.
What about the second interlude and half the third chorus?
Yes, thanks for the full version of SCOM. At 3:36, Slash starts one of the top 20 or top 10 greatest guitar solos in all of rockdom. Great total rock song. Richard
