I thought that they recently added the higher tiers dropping from o1.
I could have sworn I saw a blog post mentioning it

I’m pretty sure it was a bug, considering the tiered armors went down by one to match the weapons. I’d assume it’s because the items were coded by tier, instead of specific item. so when they all dropped by one, O1 began dropping tops instead of old tops

@CharzikenRotmg oh... yeah this was in a blog post with patch notes.
Tiered armors went down by one and they made it so they are more balanced for where you obtain them.
This was suuuuuper recent lioe one of the latest updates.
