In the beginning of using this scanner, I couldnt get it connected via bluetooth, but after reading the manual the scanner is awesome!

I just got mine, well worth the $500 here in California. I’d recommend it!
What's the difference between using this scanner vs just linking the obd device to my phone and using the phone software. I'm just curious what is the benefit of the scanner. Looks like they do the same thing

Got one of these but it doest have the IM readiness function something so simple that even the most basic scanners have. Its a dealbreaker for me.
