Rodri’s got into everyone’s heads. The truth is, any team in world football would be happy with a draw at the Etihad.
Exactly my thoughts
1-0 loss is also a respectable result at the Etihad
100 percent .. only a fool would say otherwise
I wouldn't say happy but it wouldn't be a disaster this early in the season, I'm sure City won't be overly disappointed with a point today also.
City remains 1st and Arsenal 5th..I know which one I want..
@@GermanChickenwingbeing 1st after 5 games? Is that what you're flexing? Even City can lose that position now you know that right?
@@Eduboy22 For the team who have won 6 from 7 or 4 in a row means alot..
@GermanChickenwing Then a draw wouldn't be too disappointing then would it considering they'd still be top with all their experience to maintain that position until May
@@Eduboy22 That's why Arsenal need to play for the win
One thing I've noticed over the years is that big matches like this with small margins, rarely go as the pundits expect. That's what makes football interesting.
Like william saliba said "We are not satisfied"
Not unhappy if we only get a point but we should be aiming for 3.
It’s funny though how Arsenal have to beat City twice to be taken seriously apparently yet City only got one point out of six last season against Arsenal and still won the league.
It will be hard to win at the Etihad.
Who cares dont aim for one aim for 3 even the liverpool title winning side went for all 3 not for 1
@@timothyoluwafemi8078 are you illiterate? I literally wrote ‘we should be aiming for 3.’
A lucky deflection in the Shield, lucky deflection at the Emirates, and parked the bus at the Etihad. Sure, people should totally acknowledge that.
@@SemmeralddynamicsBaammy my bad buddy. I didn’t realise you got docked points if the goal was deflected.
It’s okay to admit you just hate Arsenal and wont ever give them any credit no matter what they do.
Not losing at city would be a great result. Beating them with no Odegaard would be impressive. People seem to not realise that the 6 games Arsenal lost last year, Havertz either DIDN’T play or played in midfield where he was largely ineffective last season. Had he played upfront in ANY of those games lost, Arsenal would’ve been champions. Havertz attacking returns whilst playing upfront are world class
Havertz place in the team now is way diffrent, and he is nailing it. "He doesnt score alot of goals. blablabla". say ppl. Yes, because thats not his main task, even as a CF. Agree with you
Three big away games within 7 days, 1 point is good enough for Arsenal
Rodri's point somehow makes sense, given that Man City has set the standard for winning the premier league in the modern era. As an Arsenal fan, I know that our team has improved drastically over the past few seasons, but if we want to be at their level, our team must aim for a win. I'm not saying the drawing is not good, but it has already been 5 seasons since Arteta took charge, we must give our all.
1 - 0 to the Arsenal . It is high time we assert ourselves as Arsenal community ourselves with regards to Man City. Let others know we can compete with them at the top.
Arsenal and Arteta would snap your hand off with a point, don't let them fool you 😂
Not happy with a point. However, if you don't win, don't loose it.
As an Arsenal fan, l will go to a draw at Ettihad and target a win in Emirates like last season.
People are forgetting that Arsenal really won the EPL last season but for Son who intentionally threw a goal away again City and celebrated Spurs loss with City. So for planning purposes, a point will be good. A win will be a bonus
Can we not focus on this? Arsenal want to win it’s not about being satisfied with a draw, Arsenal want a win nothing less and I pray and believe Arsenal will achieve this today and exceed these expectations of “playing for a draw”
But lets ve realistic do they
Rodri chatting absolute rubbish. We took 4 points off them last season. Thats not where we lost the league. We lost it against Villa, Fulham or West Ham.
What else would you expect Rodri to say; they won the league. If Arsenal had won the league then that point would have been decisive in our favour. City came to the Emirates and left with no points. Does that mean their mentality was lacking? Of course not. It just shows that the league isn't decided on one match... As for the question. Who wouldn't be happy with a point at the Etihad 🙄
Arsenal lost the league in last December with the Liverpool,West Ham,Fulham games and Aston Villa matches. I feel Arsenal needs all 6 points to win against Man City to dethrone them. Not 1,3 or 4 points.
Arteta took 4 points of Pep last season and Pep ended the season with only a point from Arteta. However it was Emery that decided the title. If you don’t believe these two teams are not very similar in ability and quality then you don’t understand football. City have the experience which Pep has instilled in the team and the titles won. They are bored of winning. Arsenal are right on their back. Could see this game ending in a win for Arsenal. Yes a 3-pointer for Mikel out of the Etihad for first time. City are not as fluid as they were last season.
Take 1 point then beg teams later to take points off City.. How can you challenge City and be scared the same time? No chance of winning it then
Oh! just shutup
@@HabscodesJust like you will come may
@@Habscodeshes got a point title wining liverpool did the same went to etihad and played for 3 not 1 but they lost and thays was thier only loss all season
@@timothyoluwafemi8078 Even if Liverpool drew that game, they would have still lost the league..They needed to win that game
100% agreed
💙 Man City 4-1 Haaland Hatrick, Gundugan
Why u haven't score the hat Rick u stalking against Brentford day dreaming arsenal will win
No. After two bad games we need a good win to raise up our players morale.
As it’s early in the season a draw is completely fine and a good result.
dumbest question ever. any club would be happy to get a point away at city
A point wasn’t good enough last season so why would it be this season ? Need 3 points mate
Because we lost the league because of dropping stupid points in the first half of the season. Not because we didn’t beat City twice.
@ItsAv3rageGamer Well it's both, had you beaten city at the etihad you'd have won the league. Alternatively beating another team such as villa would've won you the league.
To conclude beating city would be a huge opportunity to win the title
@@yourdailyjoe3155 trying to claim that 4 points against City is a crap argument though. City got a single point out of 6 against us and still won the league. Because they mop up the lesser teams. We dropped stupid points in the first half of the season like losing back to back against West Ham and Fulham.
A point was good enough. Arsenal dropped points vs Westham Fullham and Villa. It was not lossed at the Etihad
@@yourdailyjoe3155 that’s the point I’m making, even with the games lost to Villa West Ham and Fulham if Arsenal would of beat Man City both games Arsenal would of won the league regardless
Arsenal will shock the world by talking all 3 points not draw my friends ❤❤❤
Rodri said the same thing about the mighty Real Madrid CF then result in front of you.Real Madrid win Champions League again and no.15 while his man city play in the competition(UCL) 14/15 times 🤣🤣
A draws fine, 3 would be great but cant lose, if we open up they most likely will punish us. Better to keep them a stone throw away on the table than give them a mile so early in the season.
HAVERTZ will do it
Yes. Not happy but the club will be fine with it.
Yes. I’ll do your job for you
Unless they throw away a lead then a draw is a good result
Considering how they celebrated the draw last season.... yes, they'll be happy😅
Not only will a point be a good result for Arsenal, it will mean two dropped points for City - and in total therefore a three-point advantage against City. Remember City beat Arsenal to the title by just two points last season.
"therefore, a 3 point advantage against city".. You do understand that if the match results in a draw, that'd mean both teams have dropped 2/3 points. A draw will only affect the table as far as other teams are concerned, but def not the point difference between the two.
@@mndeni4729 If City win, the already existing points difference between them and Arsenal will increase by three in favour of City. If the two teams draw, the already existing points difference between them will remain unchanged. Is that hard for you to understand?
Someone has to beat these guys at the Etihad ..can Arsenal do it??I don’t know
i❤Arsenal hope we win but its quite a challenge
I can see arsenal winning 3-1 today just a gut feeling
Arsenal will be happy with a point. Man city won’t be happy with a point.
That’s why city win things and Arsenal don’t.
simple as
Arteta will take the bait and Arse will get spanked by the Blonde Terminator
This will be a boring game 🥱
they would be lucky thats for sure, City are too good
All of them are eyeing for all maximum 3 points nothing less
Arterta lets defend
happy not to get annihilated 😂
Arsenal will never win the league playing with that mentality…especially when their manager is scared of big teams and just park the bus.
Manchester City 2-3 Arsenal 😂
So long as Arsenal believe that they would be happy with just 1 point, they must then be content as runners-up. It's amazing how the punditry keep saying that Arteta MUST win silverware this season, they MUST win the league. Yet, they tell the audience that a single point would work for Arsenal. Then, at the end of the season, they will say Arsenal should have done more or they should have done this in the transfer-market or Arteta just can't make it happen or other such nonsense. Arsenal either switch their thinking, their attitude, to that of a champion and go for each and every win, or be content as runners-up, playing it safe all the way through.
Thats what im saying
LOL We’ve beaten City many times why settle for a draw
the last time was in 2015 (at the Etihad)
