Big problem: when Kompany was in the team, Belgium played 10 against 11; follow his movements (or rather his passivity) on the Japanese and Brazilian goals. Boyata had played three clear matches and he was substituted because Kompany was preferred by Martinez who made very big mistakes. (Like wanting first place in group G) Second place would have led Belgium to the final without having to pass the tough Japanese and... Brazil!. The English coach had a finer nose.
