The L series have an electronic fuel pump and you can adjust the fuel flow rate buy using a hammer and a screwdriver. Only pro mechanics know about this trick and it solves most of the starting problem ( excluding battery out and clogged fuel lines )

This is longshot but i still ask. Why this type car sucking the air into system? Engine is running after 10sec cranking but gas pedal do not responde and fuel system get air in.

Switchs in the doors for the lights one is prob sticking in causeing the light not to come on hope this helps

What one is it the Td4 or the L series td this one was the series td and it had a burst fuel pipe so it would run on starting fluid and then cut out. The Td4 are a little more complex. But it you give me the symptoms I will try and help. Also thanks for watching I appreciate your comment.✌🔧👍

Yeah that's an old 1999 Freelander my brother cut the back off it to hall hay up the hill it had a broken fuel pipe and was constantly drawings air it did run the last Time I was over.😀😂😂😂

We fixed it there was water in the fuel. Draining tank and refilled it new filters and flushed it. It runs fine now thanks for watching
