The Guilty got an American remake on Netflix
For Shocker, R.I.P Wes Craven who directed this movie
forever young is the first icon productions movie from mel Gibson
I have Aeon Flux on DVD (2017 reprint)
Hey Clayton Condo, it's me again, Oral Richards Jr. Since you commented on my comments on your video, i have something to say on your video.
1. R.I.P. Tony Bennett 1926-2023 😢😫😭
2. Shocker is actually an independent film, as it was finanxed independently by Alive Films, as it was one of the three films the late great Wes Craven made for them that Universal only handled distribution, after his first studio film Deadly Friend was heavily meddled with by Warner Bros. and it's head of production, Mark Canton, which resulted in such a bad experience that he and future Oscar-winning writer of Jacob's Ladder and Ghost, Bruce Joel Rubin both disowmed the film.
3. It's suprising American Tragedy was produced by Fox Television Studios and released by Trimark Home Video, instead of Fox.
4. Somy Pictures Classics does love foreign movies.
5. Insomnia was remade in 2002 by Christopher Nolan, which was his last R-rated film for 3 decades until Oppenheimer.
6. Y tu Mama Tambien got director Alfonso Cuaron the job of directing Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
7. Factory Girl's unrated version was posted by the film's director, the late great George Hickenlooper himself before TWC had him pull it down.
8. Hope Springs is not to be confused with the 2012 film of the same name.
9. Irrational Man is one of the few Woody Allen films to have bonus material, which is a rarity for the director, who prefers to let his films speak for themselves and never have bonus material for his films, given his disdain for them.
10. Never Look Away is quite a long movie.
11. R.I.P. William Hurt
12. Truth or Consequences, NM is one of only two films Kiefer Sutherland directed, the other being Woman Wanted, which was so bad that he took his name off the film.
13. Aeon Flux was meddled with by Paramount, during post-production. After director Karyn Kusama submitted her rough cut, a regime change at the studio occured. One of it's supporters, Sherry Lansing, left the studio. Then Donald De Line left and Brad Grey and Gail Berman replaced them and put the film through post-production hell (like Event Horizon) and was re-edited and nutured from it's originally intended hard R-rated film to PG-13 film. The released version was a critical and commercial failure that was disowned by series creator Peter Chung, lead actress Charlize Theron and director Karyn Kusama, who vowed to never direct a film where she had no creative control over and final cut privilege.
14. Best Laid Plans and Roll Bounce were 2 Fox Searchlight Pictures they released through it's Fox 2000 pictutes label, which is a mid-budget label of 20th Century Fox.
15. Errol Flynn was reported to be a spy, which was turned out to be not true, which was a major factor in the creation of the character Neville Sinclair, played by Timothy Dalton in The Rocketeer.
16. Thirteen Days was the very first New Line infinifilm dvd ever made.
For Fact #2: Originally both Wes Craven (RIP) and writer Bruce Joel Rubin’s original vision for Deadly Friend was to be a PG Si Fi Drama kind of like John Carpenter’s Starman and he did filmed a version of Deadly Friend that wasn’t a Horror film because Wes wanted to do a movie outside the Horror genre, But unfortunately Warner Bros made a stupid choice by showing the original cut to a test audience of fans of Wes’s horror films and they hated it and Warner Bros ended changing the final film into a horror movie, and both director Wes and writer Bruce were both unhappy with the final film that they both disowned it.
For Fact #4: Sony Pictures Classics is known and popular for releasing and distributing a lot of foreign language films in the United States like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The Lives Of Others, Run Lola Run, Burnt By The Sun, Central Station, anything from Pedro Almodor, etc.
And For Fact #7: The Weinstein Company is sometimes known for having some of there films re edited and changed without the director’s permission.
Does your shocker vhs have both the white screen of death and moaning sound at the end? And I’ve seen they live by night on tcm
I haven’t checked yet
@@claytoncondo3460 yep I was just curious 👍
Have a great weekend
I'm Hoping To Get Brooklyn's Finest (2009 Film), Margin Call (2011 Film), One True Thing (1998 Film), Paparazzi (2004 Film), Rust And Bone (2012 Film), The Sapphires, Truth Or Consequences N.M., & Taking Woodstock On DVD Soon.
Since because of that Crappy VVS distributed Brooklyn’s Finest in Canada, I’m sticking to the US release of that Movie
What’s wrong with the VVS version?
well, the copy from that Crappy VVS uses Disney’s Warning Screens and removed the Overture films logo, only the Millennium films logo.
I Have Roll Bounce (2005 Film) On DVD.
This is an Australian Movie for The Sapphires
That's a British Movie for Alien Autopsy
Originally in the U.K. by Lionsgate for Testament of Youth
