It's Michelin PS4. It was around 50K, I have compared UC also and detailed out my complete experience in a full video Watch this video for details - ruclips.net/video/440pc938EdI/видео.html
Go for Mumbai - Pune express way - Khopoli Exit - Pali - NH66 - Goa (Google may suggest diversion around Sangameshwar but don't take that) You will get some bad patches before mangaon and around Sangameshwar but still this is beta route as there will be no tolls after expressway and the other route (kolhapur highway) has lots of construction patches after Pune
Hi Swayam and riya, am planning a road trip to Goa this weekend. Could you please suggest which route will be better? Thanks for all the good videos!!!
Unfortunately there is no single route Which is fully perfect!! Option 1 : Mumbai - Expressway - Khopoli Exit - pali - NH66 (don't take diversion at Sangameshwar)- Goa Option 2: Mumbai - Pune - Karad - Malkapur - Anuskura Ghat - Panchal - Oni (Hit NH66 at Oni) Reference video (Dec'2023) - ruclips.net/video/VR_2Za1aT_g/видео.html Cons in option 1 - Under construction patches between Pali & Mangaon in NH66 Cons in Option 2 - Higher tolls compared to option 1 & Under construction patches between Khed shivpur toll and Karad Overall you can enjoy drive in NH66 in option 1, if you can hear certain bad patches which will be part of under construction areas
You mentioned that you were traveling at speed over 110kmph on NH66 where the speed limit is 80. Aren't you putting yours and other travelers lives in danger? Overspeeding is the major cause of accidents and fatalities on road.
Thanks 👍 I tried this for the first time, but we struggled ok n few broken patches, and I am sure with intense rains in July it might have worsened. For the ghat patch, I did not find any difficulty due to rains as the road condition was good in that section
Welcome to South Goa, hope to catch up with you. By the time you read this comment you may have reached your destination.. Chorla Ghat please avoid, anuskura Ghat may be a better option.
I have been following your VLOG because you have literally driven the Slavia everywhere and even in some really harsh conditions. I am a little confused between Verna Turbo and Slavia, both MT. Do you think that the maintenance of the current VAG 2.0 cars and specifically the Slavia is cheaper than Hyundai, now that there is 95% localization of parts ? The only thing that is making me hesitant is the supposedly exorbitant maintenance expenses of VAG cars after the warranty period. I intend to keep the car for as long as possible. I even saw your brake pads replacement video where it costed 7k for the brake pads whereas for the Verna that is just 800-900 (on boodmo).
I am sure, boodmo is a bit underpriced for all products. I have previously owned a Hyundai also. See, the general maintenance cost is similar in both. Hyundai may look cheaper but for Hyundai you need to get it serviced every 10,000 km but in skoda service gap is 15,000 km. However if you are low on running, then your service interval is 1 year which is common for both Hyundai and Skoda. Coming to spares, even under 2.0, i find Skoda a bit expensive compared to Hyundai. Also, reliability wise Skoda still have certain teething issues. You should pick Skoda for driving fun as it has awesome driving dynamics, build, confidence in overtakes, ghats etc. if I have to choose between both verna and Slavia, Slavia will still be a pick for me.
By taking khopoli pali road for NH66 is very wise decision as roads after Vadkhal are in very bad shape. NH66 is always a good route for Goa. As always very nice vlog 👌👌
Yes, have experienced this highway from Panvel to Kanyakumari. And given condition of Lonavala traffic and construction work near Karad, found this to be a right pick !
Just a suggestion.. could you try mentioning the dates and months of your journey in your videos so that we can know the exact state of the roads and diversions.. cheers and keep exploring 😊
Yes it was at the beginning of the video... But you guys don't see a risk in going at night because if there's a flat tyre finding a place to change tyres especially in the middle of the forest?
Your Mumbai - Goa is always my most awaited video . Enjoyed watching your journey .

Sir we are also planning to purchase Skoda kushaq/slavia , how is the stability at high speed on highways and engine reliability and safety.
Wanted to ask, are you running on stock headlights? Simply love the throw and intensity.
It's default stock headlight for top variant (Style)
It's good in normal days but sometimes struggles during foggy nights
You mentioned that you were traveling at speed over 110kmph on NH66 where the speed limit is 80. Aren't you putting yours and other travelers lives in danger?
Overspeeding is the major cause of accidents and fatalities on road.
Goa is on...that vibe never fails us to cm to this place every time

Good blog. Is the Sangameshwar Devrukh Sakharpa route all the way to Oni advisable even now in the monsoons?
Thanks 👍

Yes, a bit of calculated risk. Being working professionals we are short on time; that's the only issue
@@Travidiction yes that's true.. your friend also got an office call😅
Name the halogen bulb 😅
These are stock LED headlamps of Slavia's Style variant!!
You can visit Marleshwar temple near Devrukh next time.
