The morning star points to the dawn of the day... Lucifer is referred to "the daystar" in the translation I read in Isaiah.. anyhow.. it's obvious that they are referring to Jesus from a positive perspective of brightness and goodness..
For you people debating whether "Morning Star" refers to Jesus or to Lucifer, the term appears in the KJV only twice: Rev 2:28 & 22:16. Later "versions" adopted the term to also refer to Lucifer. (e.g. Isa 14:12 in the ASV). This is an intentional distortion inserted to cause damage. The NIV uses the exact phrase for Lucifer. This is the reason why many youth, who never read the KJV, but have only New Age versions think Jesus and Satan are the same character- it is a deception in those versions.
