I personally think her industry lords make her openly worship Beyonce so that no matter how famous Adele gets she never outshines their crown jewel. Beyonce was famous long before Adele came out, and when Adele put out her first two albums she always said Etta James was her musical idol. She was crazy about her voice, her hair, her makeup everything. Then her star really began to rise and suddenly it's "hail Beyonce." Yeah I don't buy it.
Not true, because you can find lots of interviews of Adele, when she just started, that she always loved Beyoncé/Destiny’s Child.

But to win a Grammy-- the hallmark of musical success-- to earn that and give that moment away to another artist saying you can't accept it because she's the "artist of my life" isn't normal, I don't care how much you love their music. They've never worked together, Beyonce never helped her with her career, never shared a stage. But it's "hail Beyonce" every chance she gets. The industry has made B their goddess and I think Adele is required to acknowledge that in order to keep her status.
Beyonce can sing obviously but I have never thought of her as better than any other female singer that can sing. She is the most overrated singer I've ever seen. With the exception of a couple of her songs it's just bubblegum pop. It's cultish the way people act about her. Weird stuff.

And if the people at the height of her craft give her the utmost recognition it is because it is earned. Nothing about her is overrated it is deserved. And the reason Adele did that was because she, as many others could see that Beyoncé (as she frequently is) was cheated out of those awards because people don’t like the messages in her music. The liberation she promotes. Say her music isn’t for you, but don’t ever say she’s overrated. It’s simply not true and just makes you look bad yourself. 😊
