The JF BAE 146 sets the standard for any regional jet offering in MSFS2020 - nothing else comes close to it for systems depth, modeliing and textures. Its a pleasure to fly although mastering it takes time and practice. I almost finished recreating a recent delivery flight on VH-SJE from Cranfield down to Bankstown, Sydney. The aircaft performed flawlessly although I did get a minor issue with the EFB being reluctant to turn on occasionally. I cant wait for the RJ and whatever you guys do next. How about a Jetsream 41? PMDG released one back in the days of FSX and it was very popular. 🙂
The last time, I arrived in Göteborg, I thought of BRA flying there from ESSB in the RJ until 2015 (I think). I love to fly the 146, because she's an "older lady" with all the gauges, I also love in GA aircraft. But a little more comfort and the newer avionics are definitely worth it. Hey, and not only a coffee maker and music radio, we get a peephole in addition, too! I bet most of us don't even have one at home! 😆
Bae 146 easily became my favorite plane for overall experience, Just Flight even has its graphical performance to flight and system logic more finely tuned on the weaker Xbox Ser X than everything else including 737s and others! Day 1 purchase here, even if its basically the 146

Sorry if the question sounds heavy, but the Justflight team is finding it difficult to implement VNAV technology in flight simulators and the best decision was to let this beautiful aircraft be operated by Vertical Speed and Flc Chg? I understand that BAE does not have VNAV, as, according to information, it was not equipped with this technology. However, doesn't the Avro RJ also have VNAV? We know that some airlines used VNAV and others did not. Would it be possible for Justflight to add VNAV as an option on the tablet, allowing you to turn it on and off, as there are Avro RJ aircraft equipped with VNAV? I remember flying the Avro RJ from the late Quality Wings, which was equipped with a rudimentary VNAV, but which guided the aircraft at least until the Final Approach Fix (FAF). Another question: will the Fokker 100 come with VNAV or will Justflight launch it without this functionality due to the fact that some companies do not have VNAV in operation? These are my questions.
From the large selection of RJ manuals we have access to, the RJ pilot's and engineers that are involved with the testing process, and no shortage of RJ cockpit videos online, we have found no evidence that an RJ was ever fitted with a VNAV autopilot mode in the real world. Some RJs were fitted with advisory VNAV (although that required extra software to be installed at the expense of airlines so not all aircraft had this capability) which we are simulating. We are also simulating the VNAV CLB/CRZ/DES pages on the FMS as they are used to calculate things like top of climb and top of descent. We are simulating the RJ Professional to be as accurate as possible based on real world documentation, so we are confident our implementation is accurate, but you have any information that is contrary to this we would love to hear from you. If you can create a ticket at Just Flight Support with any information you have, we can get that passed onto the development team. With regards to the F100 Professional, the real world F100 does have a VNAV autopilot capability and this will be included at release.

My feeling is to have two aircraft without VNAV and I already have the BAE which is without VNAV and which is already complex to operate (And congratulations to JF for the unparalleled quality of the product). I would like to have a new feeling when operating the Avro RJ variant, with a VNAV, which is necessary, more than it takes you to the "goalkeeper's zone", that was my feeling when seeing the Avro RJ. @@ricardovitor6769 Its really not complicated on the 146, I use VNAV prediction on every flight. Set a sensible descent rate (I use -1800 FPM). Once thats done, and assuming you have a sensible flight plan, TOD is calculated. A bit before TOD use the Descent mode in the TMS and retard the throttles. Use V/S Mode on the MCP and adjust your vertical speed to match the figure calculated. It works really well.
Something that dissapoints me with the 146 Professional is that Just Flight forces installation to the community folder. If you try to move it and use MSFS Addons Linker to manage it's use in the Sim you get an "invalid licence" message on the EFB and the craft wont function. This is a problem for me. I do wish they would review installation or at least respond to the many requests for info on how to work around this.
@@Wilber913 I know, me too, they are hard to notice however they are there, especially in airports installed, I usually get them on takeoff and landing, in cruise no, but the plane when it moves on the ground in cab you notice a lot. You can feel it's a little bit heavy.

Please take care of the sound when taking off on the runway, making a more accurate sound of the wheels on the asphalt would add much more realism, for now on the F28 and bae146 are identical.
If you own the 146 then you'll get offered a discount. The show prices covered all products that were available at the show, something we always do as a bonus for those at the show - Show Offers! We're not going to entertain the idea of offering the same show discounts for all those products to those not at the event, sorry.
Why do you feel the need to offer a discount for previous 146 owners? They are different aircraft no? The RJ isn't an expansion is it? You don't and/or won't see PMDG offering a discount to previous owners of the 737 who are going to buy the 777. People are going to ask why are you so concerned about a discount? Well I know what it takes to create such detailed aircraft. How many man hours etc, so I want them to get every penny they deserve from the project. I want it to be worth their while to continue to make new aircraft. And if they are stand alone products, why offer a discount. No one else would for a highly detailed add on.
What a bizarre comment. Your PMDG comparison does not hold water at all since the 737 and 777 are two very different aircraft completely. The difference between the RJ and the 146 is mostly under the hood and with very minimal exterior differences, perhaps comparable to the 737-200 vs 737-300. I am very certain that as a company, Just Flight knows what they are doing and know that they can attract more buyers by offering a discount for the RJ. So you stop worrying about these things, they will still get a lot of well-deserved pennies even with the discount.

The 737-800, the 737-600 and the 737-900 and 737-700 are all the same aircraft yet all sold in separate bundles with no discerning discount. The concept as shown above is not new, and I see no reason to discount the RJ. And as for attracting more buyers by offering a discount, Just Flight do not need to offer discounts to sell their products. They are one of the very best developers on the market. And anyone who has bought their products in the past know this, and don't need a discount to sweeten the deal. The aircraft is enough. As for new buyers to the RJ or Just Flight in general, the discount is irrelevant.

The work under the hood is what drives development costs in these modules, even those with minute differences. Look at the development time Fenix is taking to model the A319/21 . They've already developed the A320, but the work is nothing to snooze at. I'm glad they are only charging $50USD.

Discounts often seem to be tied to company practice. IIRC Just Flight has been giving upgrade discounts ever since the FS2000 days or thereabouts. Other companies don't like to give them so much but I recall that even PMDG did give the P3D 737NGXu owners a free copy of the 737 in MSFS. And yes, the pricing of the Fenix really is incredible, unlike the Airbus of a certain developer laboratory on the "Prepared" platform... I personally don't view RUclips comments as a very serious business, hence my rather provocative and unfiltered tone. It's what I wanted to say and I said it, that's what people do here all the time and it's not a big deal imo. There's also the Chilean airline Aerovias DAP that operates Avro RJs from Punta Arenas. And some of their liveries (the penguins) are beautiful.
