Hey nice video. Is this too much for four klipsch THX 5002 S in ceiling speakers. Will it damage the speakers. I like to keep the headroom. But is it too much. Thank you.
Shouldn't be an issue at all, those speakers are rated at 100/400W at 8ohms, and you'll probably never get near the amp's max 230W rating for height/overhead/surround channels.
My only regret is not being able to see the blue film being slowly ripped off. I will get over it. :) This seems to be more than enough to power your LCR speakers. Would you use a separate AMP for those, or would this have the juice to properly handle your front sound stage as well?
Lol 230 Not so much. It will do more than that Audiocontrol makes some very nice stuff. Their car audio is killer too. A lot of their car audio has dps you tune yourself. You will love that amp!
Nice to see an amp maker put in gain controls instead of locking it at an arbitrary value like everyone else. Though having it on each channel seems like overkill unless you're splitting the channels between multiple processors for some kinda dual zone setup... Being able to properly gain stage a system is a must-have for me as I've seen first hand in the pro audio world what kind of damage can be done from having things out of whack.
How is Audio Control G4 compare with Parasound A52+? They are similar pricing range.
both are great. more warmth from parasound and more neutral from audiocontrol
What’s the price?
That's the most important part
msrp 3600

Awesome video! With a powerful amp like that do you use or install a 20amp outlet and breaker to get best performance or a normal 15 would be fine?

Hey THTD, They make line out converters and signal processors for car audio. Great company.
Yeah, i have seen that. solid gear
AudioControl stuff is built like a tank. I'm thinking of going AudioControl for my home and car system.
So cool to see your framed USMC uniform. Thank you for your service.
