  • This short film explores what the archaeology of a modern pub in the Lincolnshire fens can tell us about how Spalding changed from a landscape of water to a modern market town.
Presented by the archaeological advisor for South Holland at Lincolnshire County Council, Dr Ian Marshman, it will explore excavations ahead of the construction of JD Wetherspoon's Ivy Wall pub on New Road in Spalding, which were carried out by experts from Archaeological Project Services.
