I NEEDED THIS VIDEO IN MY LIFE! Fantastic review Matt! It's also so great having someone who isn't affiliated with anyone giving honest reviews. So refreshing. Thanks for this, Matt!

Why do all the more expensive ones use a buckle with a SPRING BAR? Nato straps were designed to combat the weakness of spring bars, by having a straps that stays on even if one of the two spring bars would fail. Now they have just added another spring bar to the buckle... You will lose the watch if the spring bar on the buckle breaks or comes off. The cheapestnatostrap seemed to be the only one with a solid one buckle ring?

Great review. Thank you. One extra piece of information I was looking for was the distance between the second and third keepers (the area the watch sits within). If they are too close they might interfere with larger watches. Can you comment on the distances, please?

Thank you! I've just measured them all for you. The Omega is 75mm, cheapest natos is 72mm, B&J is 70mm and the Bulang is 68mm. These are all approx as the strap and keeps all have some movement in them. I think that means pretty much any watch will be okay size wise 🙂

@@time_to_lume232 Thank you! Excellent info. I understand the original specification for NATO straps stated a 60mm spacing, but manufacturers have wisely increased this.

Great review! Will need to get a Bark & Jack strap. Have you tried BluShark Straps? Their high end (AlphaPremier) line natos are super comfy.

I've not tried them, I'll take a look! The Bark&Jack ones are well worth the money I think!

I paid for all these straps myself and have no affiliation with any company. Have a nice day 🙂
