- Hiking Mt.Kenya is not glamorous.
Sorry if this is not what you want to hear.
I left the Mountain with frosted lips, face that is still peeling,cracking knees and swollen toe.
Its very cold on the summit,going down the mountain is not easy at all and to top it all the accommodation at Shipton's Camp needs revamping.
Having said all this i want to say I couldn't trade my summit experience with anything..hiking for more than 40km in 3 days.
Our trip with@ Bongo Zozo was nothing but amazing made by two amazing guides,porters and cheg from Proudly Laikipian and African Nature Adventure Tour.
Blessing to you all.
My prayer is to soon Summit Kilimanjaro.
