This serie is EVERYTHING, people underestimate it because it's korean. The way they make the monsters, weapons and locations so similar to the webtoon it's amazing.I thought i was gonna be dissapointed in the BTS but they look so scaryyy in real life. It felt good to see something different from the usual vampire, zombie apocalypse
Yeah they throw in and out a lotta stuff in the serie but hey, im so dam apprecited at what they do, like, look at that!! Thats fuckin amazing!! I'd rather watches this over WWZ or TWD. The VFX team did such a great job blending the practical effects and CG! The way it was rendered gave the entire shot a very practical feel and it really stands out.
Actually that happens a lot more frequently than you would think, for example when an actor or actress has to interpret a monster in interviews they later admit to having nightmares and things like that about the monster. Probably something subconscious

Despite it having it’s original parts and different ending... the character development really was great you gotta admit that lol. But they overused Imagine Dragon’s “Warriors” too much....
I am amazed that they were able to take a step ahead of all these zombie cliches and these easy zombie looks, and challenged themselves to replicate the monsters. It’s hard and ya out here “oh cgi bad, monsters look like shit” well what do you want? The same old ass zombies with just blood? This is a step ahead and way more challenging and I appreciate them and they did a great job. Let’s just be happy they made it possible

That’s cause the creator of the webtoon actually told the directors for this not to cite it all directly from the original story. So in fact, they went original in some aspects like new characters and switched roles.

One of my favorite monster is the security guard, the way he appeared on the webtoon is so creepy and chilling,, the elevator is displaying that it reached the maximum weight but it turns it out that only one person(monster) is in there and then *BOOM* he came out witht the grass cutter

I’m super impressed with their dedication of practical effects and costumes! The computer graphics are super well done too, but those costumes add that extra tinge of realism that make them extra spooky!

검정 지금 외국인 댓글 많은거 보면... 넷플은 손해보는 장사 안하죠... 지금 미국에서는 넷플 외 다른 스트리밍 서비스가 나오면서 차별화 정책이 바로 한류가 아닌가 생각합니다. 애니 스트리밍 서비스도 넘쳐나고, 디즈니가 미국식 애니메이션 독점하고, 애플도 영화사에 뛰어 드는데 유일하게 넷플이 한류에 빨대를 꽂다가 인간수업, 킹덤 등등으로 대박을 터트리니깐 한류가 정말 차별화 정책이자 넷플의 최대 장점으로 떠오르고 있어요. 미국에서 살다가 한번 분석해본 결과 입니다 (참고로 미국 넷플로 볼수 있는거랑 한국 넷플로 볼수 있는 컨텐츠가 달라요)

This show was excellent from start to finish. One of only two Korean shows to make the top 10 on Netflix here in the U.S.A. Hope that translates to a season 2.

I’m super impressed with their dedication of practical effects and costumes! The computer graphics are super well done too, but those costumes add that extra tinge of realism that make them extra spooky!
The monsters really did a good job, and also the actors/actress 😻
