Sweetwater’s Gabe Tucker set a high bar, but what’s the best Father’s Day gift you’ve given or received? Let us know in the comments, and shop the Father's Day gift card promotion at Sweetwater 👉 www.Sweetwater.com/shop/gift-cards/
My dad sadly died when I was 25 (1995), but in his will he left enough money for his three boys to get something special. I got a Tokai ES100R (closest to a Gibson 335). It’s one hell of a guitar and something I’ll never part with. Ever! My Dad was unique. And missed every single day of my life. RIP Leslie Daniel Lilley. Happy Father’s Day to all the other Dads reading this. 👍🇬🇧🎸
Best father's Day gift I gave was sending my dad back home to Ireland. My sister and myself surprised him with tickets and he flew out that night and got to see his father for the last time. He passed away a few years ago, but I have a lot of memories to hold onto(and his guitars!).
I've had the privilege of having Nathan work with me on my guitars. He's an outstanding artist, engineer, musician, and an even better human being. Sweetwater hired one of a kind.
I love you, Gabe! Oh, and you, too, Chuck!!! How special! Not only do you have the guitar as a family treasure, but now you have this video, too! I can't wait to see the guitar in person at next visit. "Special Thanks to Meri" for sharing. (Theresa)
What an amazing job in the L7...what an inspiration to us all in father's day.. fantastic story and amazing work and people...♥️🤘🎶🎸 Sweetwater rules..this really touched me... straight made me 😢
My first guitar was my Dad's Gibson. It looks a lot like this one with dots instead of inlays. The tailpiece is much simpler. The age is about the same also. Nathan is definitely a master.
Gibson isn’t just your Grandfather’s guitars , there are no substitute’s for the Gibson sound. The look feel and action of a Gibson guitar is the beginning of a life long friendship ! To be sure Sweetwater is where to Start to ensure your Gibson is all it is suppose to be !

I'm not a guitarist but I can certainly appreciate the talent of the staff at Sweetwater to be able to restore such a beautiful instrument.

How in the world does this video have only 253 likes? Watching it brought back memories of my own grandfather as well as a tear to my eye.
Beautiful story and guitar!

Maybe a 1930's L50. Great guitars all around, with even better stories
