My daughter and her new husband live in Fenwick, De.
Less than 15 from the beach in a rural new development.
Out of town guests and family stay at the Fenwick Shores and they seemed satisfied.
The hotel does look nice but the view from the balcony could be better. Sorry the restaurant wasn't what you expected. The best thing was the chirping birds as you stood on the balcony in the morning. Ha! It is encouraging that you will stay there again.
Yeah, we weren't expecting much of a view since it wasn't beachfront, but it was a great hotel stay overall.
My daughter lives in Fenwick and close to Ocean City.

I would so love to oak to Oak Island. I was Stephanie about it but they are not doing tours since covid.
@NerdsOnTheGo I'd love to do the tour too if they ever start them again. I'm on the Facebook group and now and then someone will post a pic where they ran in to one of the guys at the pub in Nova Scotia or somewhere. That would be cool.
