I find it interesting that Jeremycan open TG by saying everyone wears a hat and I find it funny, yet when Chris Evans opened his first episode by saying "I get chased, Matt get's chased, then I chase Matt and he chases me" I found it unbelievably boring
they tried too hard to make it like the old tg but the charm simply wasnt there. i hated the new tg from the first moment.
Yes! Outcome of their trying to replicate that style is so cringy, i simply can't watch it. I mean, new TG has reviews of amazing new cars, but it's so dull and unwatchable that it hurts
Early new top gear when it was rebooted in 2002 or whenever was more similar to old top gear, so it was a lot more serious. As the show progressed though it became more humorous and the presenters joked around more as it felt as if the audience had got to know them. That made them funny, they had become themselves. Chris Evans era top gear went in trying to replicate that themselves which was, of course, atrocious because they were all trying to be someone they aren’t.
The only funny and entertaining thing was Sabine making Chris Evans throws up

That train thing has literally been in my mind since I started driving. Crazy thing is that's only one car. An actual 6 or 7 car train at that speed with the weight of people? The impact would be even more incredible
As soon as one vehicle is 3-4 times the weight of the other, the damage is total. This loco is probably 50 times the weight of the espace, so whether there's a few carriages attached, is kind of meaningless.

you can get a can of Freon at any auto parts store in the US (you should have been able to get one back then too) and it’s not hard to diagnose an AC system.
