Part II The Ripple Effect Black Maternal Mental Health & The Family

During Black Maternal Mental Health Week we continued part two of this conversation to discuss how the lived experience of disrespectful maternal care, gaps in screening, and lack of support and congruent care can lead to long-term stressors for the entire family. We discussed how we center perinatal mental health in the model of respectful care. Our panelists included mental health experts with lived experience that discussed these issues, healing, and solutions.
