I worked at 5 Ariana Grande events. She is good for her music genre and she does have a backing band. Her music is not my sort of thing, but I can see why she is popular.
I went to two of her concerts on the swt. It’s totally worth the traveling and the money. She’s one of the greatest vocalists and a sweet person in general. Her live versions are way better than her studio records (no hate). Can’t wait for her new music also for the next tour. I totally loved : God is a woman , Breathin , Dangerous Woman , Needy , no tears left to cry and tattooed heart 😍

Her 2nd to last show she sang all those crazy licks and high notes. So I got to see how she improved that song through out the year. It’s amazing and I can’t get over that song!
The way you describe breathin is EXACTLY how I feel about it... It is my favourite song of all time. Legit. I cry all the time and get goosebumps with this song and it's so special to me.

I’ve heard other celebrity vocal coaches mention how their clients will do this often at shows and how it looks and sounds so natural.
