F this slow as S%&T BS. Here is how a real approach is flown. Slow down configure with gear only, accelerate back to 300 hundred knots. BTW, this starts over 20,000 ft. Aim 1 mile short of the runway with throttles at idle. As you approach less than 5 miles start shifting aim point down the runway to bleed airspeed to 190 knots at touchdown. My friends that’s how you shoot a Space shuttle approach in a T-38. That’s how I was taught it by a Space Shuttle pilot doing a practice EP sim while I was a T-38 FAIP
Awesome video! Will be joining y’all after I finish college - haha
Did you end up becoming a pilot? or still working on it?

PS Those MFer on cross country go Alt flaps and set 5 degrees, then air hook at FL430 with a tailwind. That how I fly San Diego to Enid 1 hop.
I guarantee I can land that T-6 Texan II without any of these extra techniques.
But would you follow his instruction until you figured it out?
