I really feel that LVMPD have some of the best looking Ford Utility vehicles in the country! Their livery design is very classy, and the rotator lights too. Modern, yet classic, and clearly bright and effective as well. Along with NYPD and LAPD they're certainly some of the most iconic police vehicles for America's most iconic cities.
@@RlXXIA - What causes cars to degrade rapidly in snowy places is road salt used when plowing snow. We don't have to worry about that here in Vegas because they don't dump salt.
The helicopter in the video is operated by the Nuclear Security Administration, it carries radiation sensors and they usually fly around town on NYE. They’re based out of Nellis on the north side of town.
Awesome footage mate! Vegas sure does look hella busy around NYE! Gotta love that Metro PD golf cart unit as well lol. Must be handy for special events situations
My old stomping grounds. Lived in Vegas for 14 years. Miss the old Vegas, it's nothing but East California now and why we moved away. Smart to stay off the Strip during NYE. Too chaotic. And yes the ambulances are crazy in town. They'll go the wrong way against traffic, jump over curbs and medians....they don't care.
Technically mortar fire works are illegal in clark county. But there were definitely plenty of personal fire work shows going off in city streets around Vegas for new years!
@@nicotorres5965no there’s not, Clark county sheriff is in another Washington state. I know there’s “Clark county public safety police” but they’re rare to be seen in Vegas.
Clark County wont respond into the Las Vegas city limits (unless they are the closest available unit, or the emergency is big enough to need clark county). The Las Vegas Strip area is covered by Clark County because, technically, the strip is not within the city limits. It is part of unincorporated Clark County.
@@RlXXIA there is no clark county sheriffs, or Las Vegas Police, because years ago the LVPD and clark county sheriffs office merged together. Forming the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
AMR and MedicWest are both AMR in actuality. Community Ambulance also responds with clark county, including the airport. All three EMS services do primary transport for Clark County, they rarely transport themselves unless there is no private ambulance available. We can also cancel fire if we get on scene first and determine we don't need them. So CCFD primarily does first response with paramedics, the privates transport.

I love how the LVMPD still has some Crown Vics left.
No snow means good condition cars.
We do get snow but rarely. The last time we got snow was in 2019 on February or January.

Colin Leavitt Cool
It’s very cool that the AMR vehicles have the rumbler siren
That's one thing I can say about my town we don't play and we're prepared for all kinds of emergencies great job Metro
Don't forget the Nevada Guard homies and the CCFD!

Tt
That ATV was quite funny. The guys riding it didn't really look like officers, almost as though some reveler had stolen it for a joyride haha!

I'd drive the ambulance on the wrong side, across the median or on the sidewalk as well if necessary
Damn... I live in Las Vegas and never seen that before but I have seen about 6 police cars responding real fast.
that happens everywhere...we do it too when needed
I have seen them in a different lane (left lane)
Outstanding compilation awesome one!
The Helicopter at 1:55 is Bell 412 operated by the United States Department of Energy. They use it to measure the amount of radiation in the air.
Its up and patrolling the strip every new years or for large events
Nice! This was an epic compilation
Happy New Year
Happy new year 🥳 from Australia 😌
4:43 THE PANDAMONIUM IN 10 seconds
Everybody’s all gangsta till the LVMPD stops using crown vics
great videos! Looks like there are only organized fire works and no private ones in the streets; Seems somehow strange to me
EnjoyFirefighting - International Emergency Response Videos That’s Australia as well lol. I don’t know anyone who does their own fireworks

Those big ambulances must be so expensive to run
Well. They need to be able to carry firefighting equipment as well.
o m g that is one awesome recording 👍
Amazing video!
Excellent video!
18:11 yes Metro Police is the only law enforcement in strip. I wonder why there is no sheriff for Clark county.
There is, but I guess they don’t show up in Vegas

Nice video!
Squad 32 is the one some lady stole from outside the Monte Carlo and drove to the California border.
NO
I live in las Vegas when I grow up I will be a lvmpd
Good Luck
¡Nice Video!
Very Nice mate!
1:59 is a Department of Energy helicopter that tests the air for radiation.
Yes, that is not a Las Vegas Police helicopter.
Great video
Nice catches
What was it like seeing a yellow fire truck with blue and red lights mate?
Nicholas Peberdy Like every day in Canberra lol
They are common
Nice
3:13 4 police cars and a police Ranger in the same lane
Unique but why are people j walking where when ambulance is coming because the ambulance might run over people???
Those rigs all have a federal q yet none of the were using it. Why??
its like 2017 again in lv
But what they did not know taht 2020 would just suck
Yup
Medic West...AMR ...and Clark County all respond in the city limits?? How does that work?
Las Vegas is Clark county and I do not know why....
And we don’t sheriff vehicles and I really don’t know why, it’s very confusing.
