to anyone thinking this is hard, you pretty much need to have all (at least most) 40 PAS rudiments down. having those mastered, it could make this alot easier.
Depends, you can? I mean the Rudiments are there for any drummer to use and learn to their liking. Hybrid ones are there for anyone who can use them to use them. No discouragement.
no discouragement whatsoever, just like the other commentor said, however hybrids like these are more suited for marching percussion because they're more for chopping on the field. By all means, use it on a kit, but *in my opinion, and I am by no means a professional,* these belong on the field. All about context truthfully.
Inverted inverted? OK Vic now you've gone too far. Since music involves math that would make it nothing. Zero. Better off calling it Cornflakes with a brewsky or maybe French toast with Velveeta. That sounds sweeta.
ive worked with corps style tech for many years now. at some point these tiny details are indicative of someones over-the-top obsession and very little to do with anything creative. Good stuff to b familiar with but beyond that, so what? Whats it got to do with anything in this world? LOVE HATE LOVE
God damn Roger Carter has hands.
So an outverted flam five.

Why not call it a double inverted flam five?
Roger,
I really dig your lessons here!
Mirrored flam fives is what I'd probably have named it. Anyway, really cool hybrid rudiment here.
Blue fives are awesome where is music going I don't know but somewhere special
I never noticed just how large Rogers hands are.. He’s definitely a legend
I wonder why they're called blue fives (sarcasm).
Trying to figure out what time signature to write that phrase at the end of the video into a cadence....🤔🤔👀👀
Whoa. RC is great.
Count how many times he says "inverted"
Is there a grid for this
Do drumkit drummers practice this too?

It just occurred to me why he called it Blue. . .
+J. St.Valle Hehe because the Coats use the blue cheese.
What's the reason?
+neilyvanneily for the name because he used them original in 2013 ebony piece as well as in twitch.
+neilyvanneily not this one but the blue cheese.
+neilyvanneily - It's because "Blue"coats. Hi, I'm the original commenter. I just changed the account name, that's all.
