Love seeing what you and Owen are up to with your latest projects. That knife set for your friend is beautiful - I love the combination of artistry and function - not just dust collectors sitting on a shelf. And that chopper is 'wicked' in all its meanings (used to live in New England so I use the word a lot to emphasise my point! 😄) I have a friend who is a misplaced-in-time Viking and lives the lifestyle, but instead of blades like that one, he collects and uses lots of axes and has a axe throwing target board in his back yard.
It will be interesting to see how you finish off the blade and how it performs when you put it through some trials. Have a great week coming up, and I hope you can get your internet service figured out without too many additional hassles.

Beautiful work.! Hope you rest enough as your body went through a lot so short ago. Your left eye looks very tired or the pressure is back. Wish you and Wrex a great weekend, E.

All your work and talent is just stunning. One knife is just more pretty than the other. Practical can be very classy. You also really look great. You sound very strong....and the smile is definitely there. Take care

Glad you decided not to fo the hole grind, your right, that is more for things like straight razors. You know im not a bog fan of seaxs but that design is better than most ive seen. Glad to see owen had got that blade in the antler.

Love it! You know I'm absolutely supportive of your craft brother! While I wholeheartedly agree with you on the practicality of big choppers, I wonder if you've thought about the possibility of trying your take on bushcraft edc's or a skinner? It would be cool to see how your artistic mind would envision something like that... But I will excitedly await seeing the abuse you put the chopper through! If it stands up through everything you try, you should totally take it to the range and split a projectile or two with it... Just a thought. Love ya! God bless!

Hi, it’s me from No. California. I must say that chopper looks quite evil and I would imagine it will be quite heavy when completed. I also thought paring knives had smaller blades. Still learning, so thanks.

Ya gotta have a chopper under your belt. Just to keep for yourself. I know you have guns, but if someone rushes in, grabbing a big ol' chopper is a lot faster than any gun. I've got one right next to my bed, no sheath. I've actually got a couple, one is hollow ground, but yeah definitely stick with flat for that.

What are your thoughts on the design? Honestly no filter needed!

@@shepardsforgeh2031 I mean we have completely different taste & I learned a long time ago from my friend that is brutally honest with me, design is an individual thing. He used to say things like your grinds are getting better & you are shaping & finishing the handles much better but I've always hated your handle shapes. Then he would show me a knife on instagram that he though looked badass & I thought it looked ridiculous. I am interested to see how you do the fuller though. I've never tried one on the grinder. I've seen Simple little life do it with his grinder. You got this.
