Bruh, I did 20 years in the Airforce and retired a few years ago at 39, I hated the job but I did it somehow. I thought to myself ok well maybe it’s just because I was in the military why I hated the 9-5 so now that I’m a “civilian” it must be different. Mannn, I started working again and after a year I quickly realized that it’s just the bullshit 9-5 construct, it’s completely unnatural to do this shit five days a week. I looked at my pension and VA check and I said fuck it, I’m going to stop feeling “guilty” about not producing in this bullshit society. I thank god I stuck it out in the military and was able to buy a house and a whole lot of benefits. I made 80k per year at the job I had and my pension was still more money every month after they took take out my salary. Smh a job ain’t meant for me anymore I’m done. Done with sitting in dumbass traffic. Ever since I stopped working my blood pressure is down and I lost 27 pounds, a 9-5 will rapidly take your life.
