In front wheel drive drifting, the racer uses the pull up emergency brake for short intervals to cause the loss of rear wheel traction by locking the rear brakes. The same thing is happening in RWD and FWD using this method
FWD cars also drift and no theres nothing called "skidding" done in this video. Just because of chassis and the power, the sound and positions are different

Fwd don't have power in rear wheels, so only sliding can happen. Drift is far far away from sliding,sometimes they may look similar but not.
